For the Chaos Guardian fight, it is acctually good to have a Inhalation Purification Unit and some magic damage reduction on your MEKA suit. The Inhalation Purification Unit will actually make you invincible to attacks of chaos guardian until you run out of power thus you only need to care for the gravity sucking thing.

Man, and I sort of enjoyed the 1.12.2 guardian fight… it felt like a proper battle of gods, dodging the spray of attacks, breaking down the crystals, then chunking down the dragon itself. And they just gave it an instakill, ADDS, and several points where you just have to wait. Great! How fun.

Lash when making reactors (for the future) you can throw the control rod assembly's in your off hand and then use your builders wand to place them all simultaneously on top of the fuel rods. This goes for all building with the builders wand, you can throw any block in your offhand and your builders wand will prioritize that as the block to place.

I haven't seen a single Minecraft boss fight that looks fun or interactive, it's either a "stat check" or a fight that looks way too clunky. Chaos guardian is a combined category, it stat checks your draconic shield but that somehow doesn't feel too bad imo. The fight is otherwise pretty clunky because this game and modding scene sucks at bossfights but it can be learned to beat without having to respawn multiple times and without tanking much damage

@@zirax54 Betweenlands fights are pretty good from what I remember. Twilight forest are neat too. And that's only for modded, in CTM maps you're got a lot of choice with some great (and sometimes less so) designs.

Hey Lord of Darkness, one tip, use the "me transmutation module" in your ae2 system to have acess all emc item. The mod add this call "appliede". Maybe there's still time to be a useful tip :D

Bello lash, for iron, gold and diamonds you can use the philosopher stone recipe and use emerald seeds in the pytho insulators. Have a dark day (Lordcraft and nuclearcraft are amazing mods)

More QoL: You can hold a block in your off-hand and use the building wand. This way it will place the blocs in your off-hand. This tip would be handy when building the last layer of the reactor. Step one put control rod in the off-hand, step two click with the wand, step 3 magic.

You just need more modules in your draconic gear like the undying module, shield recharge etc. You can outheal the damage and recharge unless you walk into the red beam and don't hide behind obsidian. Also upgrading your bow modules like speed and damage makes the shield go away really fast. Make a chaotic weapon like the bow as a first upgrade as they can instabreak crystals without the dragon hitting it.

Flawless isn't the highest tier of gems, there's perfect above that. The laser beam you'll have to hide behind blocks, either go inside the chaos shard room or hide below the island, hidong behind pillars could work but there's holes in them, not recommended (of course teleporting out is also viable) As the comment might have also pointed out, Chaotic tier weapon bypasses the crystal's shield, so after the first Chaos Guardian the fight should be much less time consuming... if not for the endless gravity well (which wearing a jetpack solves the "can't fly" problem) and laser beam Apotheosis's Endless Quiver enchantment does work with the Chaotic Bow, and with Obsidian Arrow that's another free +20% damage, there's also Undead upgrade for the chestplate too that acts like a rechargeable totem (and gives a few seconds of invulnerability when used up)

I believe there is one rarity of apotheosis gems that are above flawless so you can upgrade your gear a bit further. To remove the gems that have been applied you can use the vial of searing expulsion to remove all gems, however you cannot retrieve them. Alternatively the vial of arcane extraction exists but comes at the cost of destroying the item to retrieve all applied gems.

I think the awakened draconium dust does have a recipe, but it's simply not in the JEI. I haven't tested it because my slav-, ehem, I mean good friend, was assigned the duty of draconic evolution during our playthrough.

You can hide, shoot and hide again behind the obsidian pillar like a chicken to avoid the laser from hitting you. I mean i myself is a chicken so i probably gonna do that

Greetings my dark lord. How is your life? You are braver and more patient than me. I will never fight the chaos dragon, ever. If there comes a moment in a modpack where it becomes a blocker for progression, I will move to another modpack. I like technical challenges, I don't like mobs and this one is the most stupid one any sadistic psychopath could think of. I really like that AE2 is able to collect polonium etc. in this pack; they're quite annoying to handle generally. I believe in this pack, AE2 is also improved to craft with a returning item such as the philosopher's stone or mystical agriculture crystal. It no longer looks for 64 of them if you're creating a stack of fuel.

Btw there should be a draconic upgrade that is a energy based totem of undying with multiple charges that’s the answer to the stupid laser beam, you literally have to die so the only answer is a buffed totem
