Made no sense to me at all. The only Hindu teacher that makes any sense is Sri Aurobindo. The Psychic Being is the personal evolving Soul. Kundalini or "spiritual awakening" is at first an initiation and direct encounter with the Divine. This then results is a long arduous process of clearing one's suffering, complexes, repressed emotions, feelings, grief, etc. After this long painful process, the ego is united with the Psychic Being or Soul, which is a flame hidden behind the heart. This is the True Self...the Divine Individuality. Once the Psychic Being is realized and actualized it comes to the front of the Being and unites with the LIght Body or Spirit. This Spiritual Light body is a projection of Source and is sustained by Source (the G-d). The Psychic Being or Soul is then united to the Spirit or Atman. This is referred to as "G-d Realization". Realizing and actualizing the Psychic Being or Soul is called Self Realization. I know. I have been experiencing this process for 23 years. There is so much wrong spiritual teaching and nonsense out there it is astounding. No wonder humanity is heading for near term extinction.
