I agree on the philosophy, but i personally feel that this beat is not a good example. Trap and jungle are far apart imo, adding a pad/drone/atmosphere makes ur beat almost sound like one of those memphis underground beats. Yours being way less dirty and more musical though.

Interesting perspective. I also see a lil Memphis inspiration with this beat. I try my best to mix trap and jungle since some of the elements (sometimes) are similar like 808s and fast drums. I’ll try better next time to give a better example.

@sunnbeam-kf5ff fast drums for trap don't really sound like drum breaks, go check out some liquid drum and bass and listen to those drums. Those are more what you should be looking for.
