tip for new BM listeners theres a LOT of literal nazis in the genre. (i wish i was kidding) dont fall for their bullshit. half the bands sing about "a crusade to purify europe of the degenerate non-aryan hordes" and shit really disgusting people. watch out for them.

Lustre was before both. Though, Burzum and Summoning were out earlier. I do think Lustre has created a pretty unique sound.

@@surreptitiouswritings Correct. Lustre, Besarabian Hills and several others are all Summoning-inspired. I would class Eldamar and Elderwind as more metal-adjecent than both Lustre and Besarabian Hills.
