@VikramSingh-ks5te
@VikramSingh-ks5te Жыл бұрын
Here it means that winds which are blowing parallel to isobars are nothing but perpendicular in context of isobars . And because at equator there is no coriolis force now due to rotation of earth from West to east winds blow parallel.

@MagnetBrainsEducation
@MagnetBrainsEducation 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! You are right, when we ride a bike, we must increase the speed. However, we can also use friction force to slow down. When there is a barrier, the wind speed will slow down due to the friction between the air and the surface of the barrier. We hope this explanation helps! Thank you for watching our videos.

I didn't get why the coriolis force is directly proportional to the angle of latitude? Why does the earth cause the surface to twist more as the latitude increases because according it should rotate more on equator. Equator par jyada distance cover kar rha hai to yahan speed or twist jyada hone chahiye n? Please reply it's a humble request 🙏🏼

@MagnetBrainsEducation

Hi! Thank you for your question. The answer is actually quite simple. Tropical cyclones typically move from east to west because that is the direction that the wind is blowing. However, there can be exceptions to this rule, like in the case of Cyclone Biparjoy.

Agar earth ki speed equator par jyada hai to coriolis force bhi equator par jyada hona chahiye?
@Alifffffffffffffffffff7
@Alifffffffffffffffffff7 2 ай бұрын
I hope you understand ❤

Why land absorbs the heat faster than the sea?
@conqueror7311
@conqueror7311 9 ай бұрын
Actually land is solid, so insolation doesn't penetrate inside, warms the upper surface faster But in the sea or in oceans, the sun light penetrate inside covers the more area ...takes time to get warm .... That is why when land amd sea release heat, the land takes less time as compared to sea..

2:33.55 .. If Cyclone cross the equator, then Pressure Gradient becomes perpendicular to Isobars because Coriolis force is zero. And therefore, circulatory wind dissipates. ----This is my Understanding But in lecture, it mentioned, wind(Geostropic Wind) blow llrl to Isobars. And, cyclone dissipate due to Coriolis force is zero at equator. My Doubt is If Wind(Geostopic Wind) below llrl to Isobars, then circulatory wind continues and cyclones to form and grow. Then how it dissipate cyclone?

Instead of subtropical jet stream it's polar jet stream ( between polar and ferrel cells ) that cause the western disturbances

??????? how coriolis force work on latitude
@MagnetBrainsEducation
@MagnetBrainsEducation 2 жыл бұрын
