@@Niels_f2704 raw kicks can sound okay when you're alone just cranking tunes, but when I'm at the club, a festival or any live setting, raw kick absolutey ruins the vibe. It's just so not a fun sound to dance to, it's not a fun sound to hear. I just don't understand where the producers get the idea this sound is attractive, because I only like it when I'm alone, and even then it's very rare it works in a song...so why use it?! as you said, bring those crunchy kicks back. I think because crunchy kicks are flatter, and more of a thudding sound, it's got a nice bass reverberation to it--these factors make it a better live sound and more fun to dance to. I hope hardstyle producers realize how much they're holding back this genre by not giving fans a fun vibe for live enjoyment.
