Just heard this song for the first time tonight. I am a 26 year male and I was brought to absolute tears (sobbing) about 1 minute into this song - when I stopped what I was doing (studying) and listened to the lyrics. I got a rush of chills, as I look down at my arms goosebumps plucking up the hair on my arm. Listening to it a third time tonight - I feel tears start to well up in my eyes - I still get chills. I can't describe how touching this song is to me. I can't think of a song that has resonated with with me to this level. Its so incredibly sad and touching. I have never had a serious girlfriend but for whatever reason this song speaks to me and I do not know why. People have said that "music speaks to to their soul" and I never really understood that until now. Until tonight.

I love the story Tony told us live when he was going to do the song, in Paris. Once he went in a bar (in Finland, I think), and on the wall, over a piano, it was written : "NO TALLULAH". He told the crowd : "That's the greatest compliment someone has ever given me !"

This is truly why I think Power Metal is the greatest sub-genre & truly one of the most diverse in music today. When they wanna be sad, they're sad. When they wanna be happy, they're happy. When they wanna be 180+bpm in your fucking face blinding tempos, they are. Ranging from themes of love, death, playfulness, modesty.. seriously, *HOW AND WHY IS THIS MUSIC STILL SO OVERLOOKED IN TODAY'S WORLD*!!!

+DantheHobnob actually, i think that is more a blessing then a curse. I belive it appeal to a serten crowd, and thats part of the magic. Id hate to see it go mainstream, as i identify whit it
@cheesemista1019 жыл бұрын
I must say, there is nothing wrong with this becoming mainstream if it ever will. It's still the same awesome music that we all hear and to be honest, I'd rather this be mainstream than what kind of music is considered mainstream at this point in time. But yes, I can agree that it is nice that a small audience can get together and enjoy good music :)
@TheHeavyModd9 жыл бұрын
+DantheHobnob The way I see it, music is not all about music, sadly. In today's society, "mainstream music" is popular because of the social depth it has: people want to be socially active, they want to communicate in many way, they want to have a link to others. Mix this with the sick sexual and social role models we have today, and we get Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and all of those other horrid "artists". I myself have found that almost every kind of music is appealing if I have a positive first impression on it, or if it fits my "musical ideals" (the way I want to experience music, the kind of music with what I identify myself). For example, I listen a lot of game music, J-pop, J-rock and classical music, mostly because that's part of who I am, while in truth, I could honestly listen to all kinds of different genres and bands (like this one band here).

I listened to this song at work when my relationship with my ex-boyfriend was about to end. We had a turbulent relationship, we didn’t want the same thing in our relationship(he wanted to enjoy life before settling down, and I wanted to enjoy life while settling down) etc... especially since he was in love with someone else, and I was just a replacement... When he broke up with me, I related to this song. A few weeks after I met my current boyfriend in school, and today we have a son together. Sure, things have been tough. But what I’m trying to say is that true love awaits for you who have been heartbroken. I promise☝🏻❤️
