Thank you for the video. This should help if i sleep in different rooms & when home is running on inverter. Otherwise average fan consuming 50 watt above will drain battery to nothing on days of powercut.

Amazing review! Full of details. Plz say something about its being used as part of cooler. I directly want to know about its durability in damp environment, as if its used in place of ordinary cooler motor, so plz say-- Is it strong enough to work for 12 hours nonstop??-- Is it water resistance??

Thank you sir, there are no vents in this pedestal fan motor so its much more protected from water than the other pedestal fans and LED display and button are waterproof. You can run this pedestal fan for over 12hrs no problem at all

Got the fan, it's really very nice! but hopeless remote! if you randomly point out the remote towards the fan and try to operate, it doesn't work! you have to tilt the remote a bit downwards while pointing towards the fan, then it works. I'm impressed with its air delivery! but highly disappointed with its remote. you can't operate the remote in your sleep if needed! because you will have to look at the fan, tilt the remote and then press its buttons, otherwise it doesn't work. I'm only sharing my experience here. In my case the sleep-timer is also not working, plus when I press mode button, nothing happens! I have ordered replacement. Hope to have a better experience. 1thing I would like to share is that, the fan doesn't beep while pressing any buttons. Again, I would say, the airflow is much much better. Atomberg should improve the remote and its panel on the fan. The rest is excellent.

​@@pronix.jbindustries Converting a pedestal to a table fan would've been an even better design. The only drawback I see is in the way it is implemented. It wouldn't be a design overhaul. After all, BLDC fans have been in use inside Air conditioners' indoor and outdoor units aside from the compressor ever since the inverter models (VFDs: Variable frequency drives) were introduced. It is not a new technology introduced or invented by Atomberg though it saw a utility in domestic applications like ceiling fans, pedestal fans, exhaust fans, and even mixer grinders. So far so good. Likewise using a telescopic stand or a cleverly designed adjustable stand would've made a better design statement for the overall product. Hope you understand where I stand. I'm a (software) design engineer and have a background in Electricals and Electronics, FYI.
