I love the fact that they have to deal with the repercussions of things. She remembers being trapped in the twins and everything she was forced to do, not to mention him killing her. He doesn't remember her, but he still loves her and wants to put things right, and even F'd in the head with his memories one huge hole and the memories he does have suspect, he does his best to be a good husband. Plus their constant 'married couple' bickering is adorable. I'm glad he gets his wife back, and she gets her husband back, even if neither of them is who they were before. I hope the devs give them a happy ending. It's a fantasy game. In fantasy, the good guys/girls can win.

I like how they focused on Katya's struggles to cope with the situation. In the first half she's cold and evasive and doesn't want to indulge, that's in big contrast with the possibility she saw when back in limbo. Once out, she is confronted with the restraints of being in the glove, she fully realises how constraining it was to live as twins. But she warms up and near the end, : when her humanity is tackled enough, and with more interaction with her mother: she seems to embrace the situation and is very keen on facing the world as p3's wife, even when that means that she has to be in the ballerina twin! I hope that unique love between a human and this new emergent non carbon life form will work. After all, she hates for p3 to be a "species-ist" :P

I’m quite impressed that they’re actually progressing the story. Normally dlc is just more side quests or prequel filler, because they’re saving the rest of the story for sequel games.

No, both endings are true endings. Devs said so before and Lebedev outright spelled it out during this DLC's recap. Multiverse is a thing in Atomic Heart (kinda obvious given Academy of Consequences).

@@vevans0009It’s gonna follow this scenario. It’s all but confirmed in Trapped in Limbo & theDLC intro that Annihilation is an observed alternate reality where P-3 chose to leave. Which I love how they actually gave a proper ending to players who chose that one, and it’s technically canon. However our main timeline which is the one they are almost certainly going to build Atomic Heart 2 off of is the confront Sechenov ending. DLC 4 will be confronting Jelly Charles and stopping the annihilation of the human race. So DLC 2-4 are going to be fully connected. I fully see a world where Atomic Heart 2 fulfills the vision of the original teaser for Atomic Hearts, the game we never got. It gave off more post apocalyptic vibes mixed with fallout. It was open world with other survivors seemingly. My theory is that setting wise, the last DLC will show us stopping Charles from annihilating humanity but not the robots. Hence bringing us to Atomic Hearts 2 where we play a new protagonist surviving in a world where Russian robots are almost like natural predators now, and we’ll get a lot more fallout like aspects. Not Full RPG but just expanded upon ideas I’d hope, like more powers and such.

@@vevans0009Yeah this game definitely went through a lot of changes, but the core stuck thankfully. It’s Mundfish’s first game after all, going full open world could have been way to ambitious. Really the open world in Atomic heart is just one big open level to explore, rather an a fully fleshed out open world system. Which is totally fine, it still works for what I needed to be, I’m just excited to see them expand on it now and add things like side quests, open world events, and some nice collectibles.

This abbreviation officially stands Chatting Artificial Librarian and Education System, but in reality it's taken from his real name - Chariton Radionovich Zakharov. He is in the Major's power glove the entire main game and Major calles him Charles because it's shorter and because he bonded with him. It's only in English dub though, because in Russian he is called ХРАЗ (Khraz), which isn't a human name. Real name is Khariton.

One thing I’m very curious to see if/where things go is in regards to the other twin, which was suspiciously absent in the entire DLC. Katya said her mind/personality was split between the two robots and that second half is MIA. And with us only ever seeing the first twin in this game that still leaves an entire second half of Katya, body, and mind, unaccounted for. And if only one half of Katya is enough to function entirely on her own, does that mean there’s an entire other Katya running around? Katya’s whole character arc through this DLC is her grappling with her humanity verses her new “digital” existence, so having an entire philosophical debate around the implications of having two copies of one person isn’t out of character for them. If your mind is split in two, who’s the real you? Do you try to merge into one again despite how different you two likely are now that you’ve had independent experiences? Wouldn't that be akin to murder in a way? Or remain separated now that you’ve both grown in your own unique way but stuck with the knowledge that your both still technically the same person? Etc.

Насколько же всё таки русский дубляж лучше. В английском дубляже только Актрисы озвучивающие Элеонору (NORA) и бабу Зину хороши и сопоставимы с нашими актёрами. Остальные прям не дотягивают. Вот слыша другие дубляжи - понимаешь как важен хороший дубляж для сюжетной игры. А сама игра шикарная, и куча отсылок которые поймут только русские 😁
