Rather than classic connections between Godzilla and EVA-01, it is more a matchup of opposites; whilst Godzilla is a Kaiju, the EVA-01 is a Kaiju killing mech, and both are the most noteworthy and infamous of their kind. However, what they both share in similarities is that they are both massively sized, have berserker modes, and are modified creatures themselves; Godzilla is a mutated creature whilst EVA-01 is a restrained Angel.

For this fight, I imagine Shinji is sent to investigate numerous dead Angels laying in Tokyo-3 in EVA-01 (as well as it being in ruins) and see what caused them. They were torn into, bitten, burnt to death, even decapitated. Then suddenly, Shinji hears thunderous footsteps which only got louder and shook the ground as a gigantic figure approached from the smoke behind him. When he turned around, he sees the one behind the Angel Slaughter; *Godzilla.* And he was angry. Seeing the reptilian behemoth come closer and glare and growl before him, EVA-01 and Shinji prepares to fight and get into a fighting stance to face off against Godzilla, clearly challenging him. Godzilla slams his tail and stomps his foot before he lets out a mighty roars in response. The two then charge at each other and the battle between two of Japan’s popular icons duke it out! Can Shinji and EVA-01 be able to overcome Godzilla’s unstoppable fury or will Tokyo-3 become the new stomping ground for The King of the Monsters? I also see this fight being in SFM with Godzilla’s model from the PS4 game and either a custom model for Shinji and EVA-01 or two from a preexisting game (Idk if there’s any)

@@gonk986 Late response but ehhhh... That's arguable. While I won't lie and say that I'm an expert on Evangelion lore, I do have an acquaintance that is *extremely* familiar with it and we had that argument. Turns out that, from what I heard of said person, most EVA Units (01 included) aren't actually that strong, at most being city level. "This still is stronger than Gipsy" you'd say. Well yes and no. While the EVA Unit is *definitely* faster and more agile that Gipsy Danger or any Jaeger for that matter, its durability and offensive feats leave to be desired for the most part. When you compare to Gipsy Danger that has survived such things as a full blown nuclear blast, a 200m+ wave and falling from more than 10 000m from the upper atmosphere, both of those while being already heavily damaged which makes its resilience show even more. As for offensive feats, I once again don't know any particular ones for EVA 01's side but what I do know is that it could take the cake, even if like I said earlier, the higher level leaves to be desired. So I won't make any judgment on it, Gipsy's biggest feats being capable of killing in a single attack a Kaiju that has survived a direct nuclear explosion and the same 200m+ wave as before along with being able to kill a Kaiju in a single slice of its sword, twice. Overall, while I absolutely get that Gipsy Danger and the Jaegers in general would probably not have the biggest of chances, it's only fair to say that they wouldn't be out of competition and may even take the win in some cases. Sorry for the rambling, but I just felt like defending my favorite movie a little, even if I know that stronger =/= better.
