Atomic Makeup (Lonely Planet): 26 LIP SWATCHES! (TOP 3 pick) WOC

Hi Beauties! Today I have a fun lip swatch video of 26 matte liquid lipsticks from Atomic Makeup NYC (formerly Lonely Planet Cosmetics). I purchased the bulk of these lippies during Lonely Planet's 50% off sale just before they rebranded to Atomic Makeup. These liquid lipsticks are amazing and they're definitely in my top 3 favorites! The formula is long-lasting, yet super comfy to wear. No cracked, crusty lips by mid-day (woohoo!!!). They apply like a dream and the colors are so gorgeous and best of all they're seriously flattering on so many varying skin tones including women of color!

This is my favorite liquid lipstick brand. I find myself reaching for these more than anything else. I have so many, but not nearly as many as you do! I listed the ones I have below. - Lori - Chatterbox - Lexington - New Pleasure - Bowery V - Copycat - Debbie - Sweet Jane - Keep Sake - Brick City - Tie Me Up - NY Doll - Fascination Lori w/Chatterbox used in ombre is my favorite combo! I get so many compliments when I wear them. Debbie is great for a no makeup makeup look. Keep Sake is another overall favorite for my MAC NC44-ish skin tone. Now that it is fall I will probably wear the darker shades more often (Brick City, Tie Me up, NY Doll, etc) because they are stunning. These are sooo comfortable! As I run out of other brands and declutter my lipstick collection, one thing is certain. These will stay!

Just so you know, three of the four that I have that you do not have (Chatterbox, Fascination and NY Doll) are metallics. If metallics aren't your thing then you should consider skipping those. I think of the three you may really like NY Doll for the fall. It is such a beautiful rich burgundy color and not overly metallic. Bowery V is sort of cool toned to me (when I wear it, I see a greigy lavender- ish shade on my lips). I use a lipliner and a hint of a cool toned metallic lipstick in the middle of my lips and I really like that combo. By itself it can wash out deeper skin tones, imo. You picked beautiful colors! Of your stash that I do not have, I would want to get Montrose and Rumble. Something neither of us have that I wouldn't mind getting is Whiskey Brown. I think it is from the fall collection.

Sorry, I was traveling and wanted to try on all three of my metallic shades again before commenting. While they all feel super comfortable like the regular liquid lipsticks, I find that Fascination and Chatterbox takes some extra work to reach full opacity (I actually have that experience with the matte liqud lipstick Debbie too - still seeing my natural lip peeking through after the first layer is put down). The texture feels similar to most of the regular Lonely Planet (Atomic Makeup NYC) liquid lipsticks I have (slightly mousse-y). Overall, I don't think these are majorly different from the regular liquid lipsticks. When I wear other brands (Wet N Wild, Milani, Ofra) I feel them more now. I've become so accustomed to how comfortable these are, I miss them when I wear other brands.

Okay, that's good to know! I definitely want to add some more metallics to my liquid lipstick collection; preferably metallics that dry matte but are still comfy. Thanks for the info :)

+Gema Morales Hello there! I read on their IG that they would be bringing back some of the original shades. I'm not sure which ones though. Also they had a bundle deal of all of their shades (I think it included all of the originals too) but of course it's sold out. I guess we'll have to see what's next...
