So... Could the hub motor be adapted to turn a belt or chain? CVT go kart might be a good application

What would it turn? The hub IS the motor. No belt / chain / cvt, single speed. Goes faster than you ever need it to.

Too terrified to try full throttle.. Won't even bother that attempt until I get some real brakes on this monster.... This setup has the 3 speed selector switch and "low" is 42mph.. Just sayin...

Thing is awesome, say if you use same motor on a normal mt bike, do I need to keep the pedal/chain on the bike or could I just remove pedal and maybe put some sort of peg in the area pedals would normally be? How are the fat tires? Do you feel they have better grip than standard bicycle tires?

Thanks, well that is up to you. It'd be nice to know that if you ran your battery down or had a problem you could at least peddle home. :) I love fat bikes.. I still have another regular one like the 48v conversion I did but left it alone. :)

I am guessing when I say it probably weighs about 125 lbs. The battery is an LG 62ah 20s lipo pack so that's got some weight.. I have more range and speed than I could ever need here. I have a few 60ah 72v packs left on my ebay store.

Doesn't need torque arms. The thick steel I used for the rear forks along with the slotted tabbed 16mm washers holds it in place. A new video is coming out soon with a bunch of major upgrades...

Hi. Just emailed you. Please advise. I have a Philodo H8 48v 23ah downtube battery. Would like 2 buy your set up on ebay. Would it work on my Philodo H8 if I remove rear motor & controller & install yours? Would I need torque arms? Another question. If I buy a 72 Unit Power PAck battery would it be compatible with your system? Please let me know. Thank you.
