To help with the hanging mechanic, there are 3 stages to it, attempt to escape, struggle and death. Firstly if u are hung on the spike but someone gets u off of it during the 'attempt stage' you will have another chance to 'struggle' if your hung again. But if u are hung and attempt to escape and reach the 2nd stage (struggle) and then get taken down from the hook, u will die if u get hung again. I hope you see this and understand it now. Ur Vids are great. :)

For those who don’t know, usually getting hooked brings you down a stage when being hooked has 3 stages. There is the start, the struggle, and death. Each hook brings you to the next stage. Snapple was on stage 2 on her first hook, so her next hook put her in stage 3 and killed her.

Yeah it's his video, Idk if it was a thing to do with in-game for him like if he was experiencing those frame drops or if it was post-processing but it's the video not you. I'm pretty sure it's processing though, as it looks like as if he was to drop frames during a stream (internet dropping) it would stutter almost exactly like the past 2 dbd videos have been so it most likely had something going on during the upload process.

I’ll explain what the barbed wire does: basically it leaves a trail a medium length trail, what this means if that not only are you particularly injured, the killer also can see you go around corners as the wire also trails around that corner for a few seconds, over barriers, in holes and such.

Also there are three stages of a hook: attempt to escape, struggle and death. Once you reach struggle on either the first or second hook the next time you are hooked is death Edit the barbed wire goes away once you get saved from the cage of atonement

For the barb wire, you can crouch on it and won't be infected by it. Once stepping on it, the killer has to put you in the cage, when your outta of cage (Saved). The barb wire will go away. The cage is basically like the hook, but once in struggle faze you must hit skill checks to stay alive like when your struggling on the hook. Three stages of the hook: Attempt - This is the First stage and time being on the hook, this gives you an option to "attempt to escape". You have about a 0.4 % chance of getting off I believe. You can use offering to increase lucky like "VIGO'S JAR OF SALTY LIPS". But, if you don't make it off the hook and kept struggling before someone can save you, you are put into the second stage. Struggle - This is the Second stage, you get to this stage by attempting to escape or being saved before and getting caught again. Struggle until saved or die. Death - Last and Final stage, you can die again by two ways on the hook. Being saved before death and back on the hook or no one came to save you.

2nd time posting because Bere should see this guide I made for the exocutioner killer: If you use the Rites of Judgement, which is the barbed wire, and a player goes over them, they will have a barbed wire trail following them and I'm pretty sure they leave scratches, if you down that player, you can send them to the Cage of Atonement, which is like a hook that the exocutioner can send them to instantly, but only if they crossed your Rites of Judgement trail, if you are using the Rites of Judgement and then use the Punishment of the Damned that attack can go through walls and baricades, it does as much damage as a weapon attack so it'll take a 2nd hit to down them if they're at full health, hope Bere sees this and it helps :)

DbD tips: Bere, I'd recommend you crouch more, as sometimes you get urban evasion and don't use it much. Just recommendation. There are three stages to the hooks: the first one is just hanging there. When you get to that part where you have to spam space is equivalent to a second hook (second hook will automatically send you to struggle and attempting escape speeds it up a lot). The third hook kills you. And hooks break when you die. The hatch now opens when there is only one person left, and YOU CAN OPEN IT WITH A SKELETON KEY! It'll only stay open for 30 seconds so be wise and get as many people out as possible. When all the generators are complete, the player or the killer can open a gate, which triggers end game collapse (the timer). The timer kills you when it ends, but it will slow down when someone is hooked or downed. The other way to trigger this is if the killer shuts the hatch when only one survivor remains, but doing so results in both doors now being able to be opened. KILLER CAN OPEN GATE is the thing I think you knew least about so emphasis. Run vaulting (windows AND pallets), run jumping into lockers, and dropping a pallet all alert the killer. So, if you think you have escaped, do NOT drop that pallet "just in case," you're asking to get murdered. The bear traps on your head only start when a generator is finished, and I THINK (not sure) you can only see the jigsaw puzzles when it's beeping? Idk I'm a bit rusty on the pig. The obsession is the person with the spider legs around them. That has something to do with the killers perks and they're chosen at random at the beginning. Try to keep them away from the killer, it helps them in some way to chase or hook or kill them. You haven't played him in a while so idk if you are still confused, but let me explain the legion. Their frenzy is a timed burst where they have no real cool down after a hit. When they hit someone the time is reset. Hitting the same person again doesn't down them and stops your frenzy, so hit as many different people is possible. You can only down someone out of frenzy. If you're hit in frenzy, the orange bar is your bleed out bar. It stops when you're in chase. As long as you start healing before it runs out, you can fix yourself. (No med kit required.) Also, SOMETIMES the killer will take the last survivor to the hatch. It's not super common practice but if they're feeling nice they might. And also, it's nice (but ofc not necessary) to let the killer hit you (or even down you) when you're IN the gate, like a step away from escaping. It gives them more blood points. These are just things both sides do kinda just to be polite, if they're feeling nice that day. I've watched every single episode and notice things here and there that I could help you with a little, so if I think of any I'll add them here or on the most recent video. Edited for more things I thought of and grammar, etc.

You get the barbed wire stuff off when you save someone from the cage or when you get saved from the cage. You can also crouch over the stuff so that you dont get the barbed wire trailing you and all over your screen. :) Hope this helped :>

Also I have a tip for Pyramid Head: His punishment of the damned which is the stuff that goes in a line when you pull up your sword injures the person, so when they throw a pallet down or vault then you could use that to hit them. It also goes through walls, so it’s pretty good.

Bereghost I hope all of you know about the hook problem. If you were on there once and if you were struggling on the hook once, That causes you to be instant killed on the second hung of the hook. Its not the health, its not the full heal or barbed wire, its the struggle you did before. Pay attention to the bottom left corner of the screen. If your hooked, you can see your health time there...

Bereghost when you get hooked the first time as long as your not in the struggling stage you can get hooked again without dying. But if you get hooked the first time and you got unhooked during the struggling stage then you will insta die the next time you get on the hook. If you struggle to get off the hook, you use up your number of times on the hook. If you struggle until the entity tries to get you, the next time you are hooked is a dead hook no matter what. That's why trying to get off the hook solo is meant to be used as a last ditch effort. You're supposed to rely on your team to get you off the hook. Teamwork and all.

Just so you know the way Pyramid Head works, you found out the barbed wire and normal stuff but what happens is, if you use the rite of judgment, it'll let you use the thing of the damned, when he uses that it'll make a straight line attack that'll hurt the survivors, I forgot to mention that attack can go through walls

The hooks work like this Sacrifice Phase: you have the ability to Take A Chance to Escape. There is a base 4% chance to escape, and it takes a chunk of your hook health bar. Luck offerings and perks increase the chance to escape. Struggle Phase: Spam X, A, or the Spacebar to prevent yourself from dying. If you are hooked again after being rescued, you will die instantly.

i'll go into more detail about why brianna died. When you get hooked you get put into stage 1 of the hooked state, Attempting to escape from the hook by yourself will deplete your timer unless you do successful escape which is very unlikely and is a very low chance. but Simply hanging there, you will remain on the hook and the timer will decrease at a slower rate. You will get 3 hooks in total or 2 depending on if you attempted to escape. if you attempt to escape and fail all your attempts you will be put to the 2nd stage which is the struggle state. So to put it simply: 3 hooks in total. "1st hook into hanging state, 2nd into struggle state, 3rd straight death." and those hooks will decrease depending on what stage of the hook you get taken off on. 3 hooks if on 1st stage. 2 hooks if went into struggling stage Edit: So a tip of advice for you and the rest of the family, if you get hooked. let yourself hang and don't attempt to escape from the hook, you will have more time for somebody to come and pick you off the hook.

When Pyramid Head places his barbed wire on the ground it stays there on the ground until a survivor steps in it. When the survivor has stepped in it the Pyramid Head can send the survivor to the cage but can't when the survivor is barbed free. The only way to get rid of the barbed wire is if your saved from the cage. The only way to avoid the wire on ground is either find a way to walk past it or crouch passed it.

You guys like to fall from high places so you guys should use balanced landing (Person doing the tree yoga pose(Green color)) its a perk that reduces your fall and when your not exhausted it gives you a speed boost when you land, and use adrenaline (Organic heart with a syringe(Purple color))it heals you one health state and gives you a speed boost ignores (exhaustion), only used once per match when all generators are done and for the killer for instant downs when all generators are done use "Hex: No one escapes death" (Pyramid of skulls(Purple color)) Totem is only lit when the perk is active (can be destroyed by breaking the hexed totem(doesn't appear till perk is active) And Bere, if your the last one alive and you have left behind it, shows you the hatch and its highlighted in red or yellow and when your tormented (barbed wire) and you are about to die in the cage or hook the killer/ pyramid head can perform another mori which is the one you did to pixie in the episode before this (butcher knife to the shoulder)the mori is the one you did to Brianna the last episode. If you guys crouch on the barbed wire and walk on it, it wont effect you with the wire and the killer isn't notified :) Also, the barbed wire is what gives the killer the option to send you to the cage. The cage after so long will give you skill checks and if you fail to complete it, it will push in and make you die faster for everytime you fail.

Let me explain the hooking mechanics, You can divide the hooking process into 3 stages The first Stage is when you are able to sit on the hook, doing nothing, you also get the chance to attempt to escape. In this stage, you can only be hooked one more time before you die The second stages is when you're struggling, and if you don't struggle you die, in this stage, you can't be hooked again without dying The third stage is when you instantly die If you attempt to escape during the first stage a fail, it drains your life and bring you closer to the second stage. This is why Brianna died, she attempted to escape and failed every time so she went into the second stage So in other words, don't attempt to escape unless it's a last resort.

Bere you have to crouch through the bared wire on the ground so you don’t get it around your screen. If you have bared wire around your screen in order to get rid of it you have to save someone who’s caged, you can’t escape from the cage and when you get off the hook on struggle mode it kills you right away when you’re hooked again.

Once you get past the halfway point while you’re on the hook, you’re instantly killed the second time you are on a hook, just a heads up. If you are saved before you reach the halfway point, then you still have time if you’re hooked again. And the third time is an instant kill, no matter if you’re healed or not, it makes no difference

*sigh* there r 2 phases. The first phase you just sit on the hook. If u try to escape too much or enough time passes without being unhooked, u will enter the 2nd phase. Also, if u r tooken off the hook, you will go INSTANTLY to the next phase upon getting hooked again. At the end of the 2nd stage/struggle stage, u die instantly so Brianna died from the 2nd hook cause she tried to escape too much by herself. I do think there is a perk to increase the chance to escape by trying by yourself

Also, the barbwire allows people to be sent to the "shadow realm" or get teleported to a death machine which acts like a hook by the killers choice, but the 2nd stage has u doing skill checks instead of struggle. In order to get rid of it, u must save someone from one of these contraptions. Also, the killer has a ranged attack

Guys if u struggle as in mashing space then the next time u get hooked it's an instant death because you struggled, when snapple said she attempted to escape and still survived her next hook wad probably cause she got off the hook then your next hook when u get off urself you struggle because it doesn't take your health down to half if you successfully get off the hook but if you fail it takes half the health and you end up struggling therefore your next hook will be instant death
