Could end up being a really nice hire. The portal will be key. Kids nowadays dont want to sit and wait their turn. It's not unbelievable to see a BAMA linebacker transfer out to a place like UConn for playing time. There is talent to be had if he can get it. As far as NIL goes, just think of the prospects that having ESPN in your area might do for you.

Yep as bad as we've been we've gotten transfers from schools like Penn state/Kentucky/Notre Dams the last couple of years. I think it'll take some time of course but the program couldn't be in better hands. Jim's a winner and players seem to love him.

Aaron, I love your take on this. UMASS could have possibly the same type of potential success using the same philosophy that UCONN employed in hiring Jim Mora. I am thrilled by the Mora hiring. It had appeared to me at least that UCONN was leaning towards winding down their football program. The key is if there is another Jim Mora type coach hiding in plain sight. Do you know of any?
