This video kinda makes me sad ngl 😢 Mingi is so talented and funny, but ATEEZ bully him all the time 😭 Even the staff and editors make fun of him 😭 Lately I've become really tired of seeing the members only show affection and appreciation for him when he's feeling down, but making fun of him relentlessly the rest of the time. It's really 95% teasing, 5% affection and it's so sad to see I know that teasing CAN be a way to show affection, but a lot of the time you can see that it bothers Mingi, a couple of times he even raised his voice to make the others stop and they only laughed at him so he just gave up and went quiet... Mingi has an incredible capacity to just forgive and forget (so many ATEEZ behind-the-scenes “fights” include Mingi, are absolutely ridiculous - like San stealing his fruit - and Mingi seems to forget all about them 30 seconds after they happened), and I feel like ATEEZ take advantage of this a bit too much. Mingi is extremely insecure, in different videos he said that ATEEZ would do just fine without him, that he's easily replaceable, and good at NOTHING, but the others keep ignoring what he says until it's too late and he becomes sad. Only then they are affectionate with him, as a way to resolve the situation. So they can go back to teasing him the next day. How about treating him better instead? Even in the video where Yunho had to guess why Mingi was sad because of him, Mingi said "I already told him this 3 years ago" aka: for 3 years his BEST FRIEND completely ignored his feelings... and Yunho's first guess was “Is it because when Mingi says he loves me I never say it back?”, which makes it all worse Something I've noticed about ATEEZ/KQ: in every video there's gotta be a "fool" the others make fun of. When Mingi was on hiatus, that fool was often San. When Mingi came back, it went back to being him It breaks my heart a little because the members always sing Mingi's praises when he's not there, but never let him breathe when he's with them. Seonghwa said Mingi has the warmest heart out of all of them, that he's a really good friend and always makes sure Seonghwa is eating (there's also a live SH did where Mingi came into the room not realizing SH was live and said “Hello, Seonghwa-hyung, saranghae”/”I love you” so casually, because he probably says it every day, and SH didn't respond, he just told Mingi that he was on live and to come say hello to ATINY). San said that behind the scenes Mingi is always taking care of people, that he does lots of nice things but most of the time it takes them ages to realize it was Mingi that did them, because he never talks about it/asks for recognition. Even when they first started training together, when everyone was intimidated by him, they said that Mingi would come up to them after practice, kindly suggest ways they could improve a certain move, and then leave before they could even say thank you to him. Mingi spent weeks teaching San how to dance, which San to this day is grateful for but ATINY like to ignore/forget. Jongho said that Mingi is his favorite hyung and everyone in ATEEZ agree that Mingi basically raised him, making him food for school and always taking care of him. They all agree that Mingi is one of the funniest members, and the cutest because he acts almost child-like at home. They say he's always taking care of the staff, making sure they're happy and well-fed, and even changing his tone of voice to make himself less intimidating. A few times at events he even ordered food for ATINY after asking them if they had eaten yet or were hungry. When he's not there they all speak nicely about him. But to Mingi's face? They all either ignore him completely or make fun of him. When Mingi won the coupon in the atletic episode, he said he was going to use it on the other two finalists (Seonghwa and Yunho). When it came time for Mingi to use the coupon in WANTEEZ, everyone in ATEEZ and ATINY was like "omg, who is he going to use it on? 👀" and I was like... are y'all serious? He already said it episodes ago! But neither ATINY nor ATEEZ remembered because no one pays attention to him 😓 ATINY's behavior towards Mingi is another big issue. Most of the fandom, even his own personal fans, always make fun of him, call him cringe and say “thank god he's pretty” and stuff like that, like Mingi isn't one of the most hard-working and talented idols out there, constantly writing and helping producing for ATEEZ, constantly helping everyone around him, constantly giving pep-talks or making jokes to raise everyone's spirits. But ATEEZ make fun of him 95% of the time, so it's ok if ATINY do the same, right? * sigh * Being Mingi-biased is so hard because you can tell from a mile away that so many ATINY only like Mingi for his body (yet somehow keep “forgetting” that he's part of the original dance line and NEVER praise his dancing unless it's extremely sexy - Magic Mingi as they call it ). The day Mingi finally fights back the whole company, nay, the whole INDUSTRY, is going to be SHOOKETH 👿 I really hope it happens because he deserves some respect 👿Even now, 2 days after Mingi's collab with Mirani came out, KQ released the Work remix with that awful man and it became a controversy, taking attention away from Mingi and Mirani's song. And they did it on Mingi's birthday of all days... sigh. Fighting, Mingi! One day you're going to have everything you deserve and more!

I understand your nervousness for sure and I can see what you mean. However, we don't truly know the dynamics of the guys and sometimes when we get an idea about what it might be like, we start connecting things that may not always be the case (I guess that's what my channel is tbh). While I ofc appreciate you rooting for him, I also don't think it's fair to assume he's being picked on and will one day rise up or that things like releasing Work Pt 4 were anything personal against him. By that standard, you could probably connect most events to be against any member if you tried hard enough. I've heard Mingi express if it's too much or uncomfortable and the guys will stop. I've also seen him purposefully put himself in the position to be the "Butt of the joke". I agree that usually someone gets picked on more than others and it's often Mingi or San. I def agree that Mingi deserves praise and respect and there's been times when I've felt the members may be doing too much. As i said, I included moments where he seemed to be having some fun with it too or at least didn't seem overly bothered but I must admit there's times when he isn't vibing with it You may be completely right about those things but you may also not be right at all. So of course let's support him but let's also not assume he's being mistreated or pity his situation if we don't truly know

@@atozed I never said that the release of Work Pt 4 was done as something personal against Mingi, just that KQ didn't even think about it. Not just the release, but the whole collaboration with such a terrible individual (and those lyrics...). KQ just didn't care and ON TOP OF THAT released it in such a way that it took positive attention away from Mingi's collab, and on his b-day of all days. Not as something personal against him, they just didn't care and were simply careless about the whole thing. I understand that fans often exaggerate and get in their feelings about a certain idol, but there's no need to put words in people's mouths and be condescending.

Glad I completely stopped watching Ateez content outside of their music because the way they treat Mingi is akin to a bunch of bullies coming together to repeatedly harass and bring down one target...Mingi in this case! Sorry to say that the main mean boys in this bullying are Hongjoong the captain, Wooyoung and Yunho, Mingi's best friend supposedly. Mingi was so right to call the group members "co-workers" and their group 'friendship' just business because thats what they are. I am glad Mingi is slowly gaining confidence and is releasing his own music. The day is not far when Mingi will definitely surpass this group because he is mega talented and the world will take notice of him. Happy Mingi month!
