just listened to Aladdin Sane album the other day, whenever I think of that album in particular, the piano is all I think of. "Aladdin Sane", "Time", and "Lady Grinning Soul". To me, the piano defines the album. The polyrhythms he plays then like plays a strangely harmonized "tequila" for a couple seconds in the Aladdin Sane track solo haha, then just f***ing hammers the shit out the piano after that what a legend. Brilliant. I'm not huge into pianists but I think this guy has to be my favorite piano player based on this album alone. Collabs with Ian Astbury and Perry Ferell too, I got some KZbin searches to do. "you're the musician who was with David Bowie for the longest span of his career", "over a thousand shows", "at least 19 albums I've played on" haha wow. Thanks for this interview.

That's a cracking interview. I get the impression that MG believes that he needs to continue to bring DBs music to life.
