I love how the ATP has just completely decided to pretend Alex Zverev isn't a Next Gen anymore.
@debbiehong86745 жыл бұрын
I'm a Alex Zverev fan and was just wondering about that. I think it's because 'Next Gen' is mainly marketed as players 21 and younger, and Sascha turned 21 last April. Next Gen or not, with his performance we'll def see a lot of him in 2019, can't wait!
@Rachy20495 жыл бұрын
Sascha was still a next gen last year, like you said it's 21 and under, and he was 21. The winner of the next gen finals the year before (Chung) was 21. They just pretended he wasn't because he was so far ahead of all the others and it made their achievements look very small next to his.@@debbiehong8674

Me, too . I believe he' s added some bulk but having such narrow shoulders & limbs, he can't possibly do much more. I fear his all- out bashing of d ball ' ll cause him injuries later. He also plays too many tournaments, 27 last year. He ' s played Doha, Dubai & now Miami straight without a break. 😗

Way to further alienate these kids from maturity, ATP. Not only does Western culture already encourage a delayed adulthood among its youth, but you guys went ahead and segregated them from the rest of the ATP. And look at them: everyone in the next gen is either sloppy or emotionally immature. Rafa was 19 when he won his first grand slam. None compare to the big 3 in their early years.
@DaggerMan116 жыл бұрын
Eh, somebody like Tsitsipas compares favorably to Federer at the same age
@Leonardo-or1ll6 жыл бұрын
DaggerMan11 I wasn't a fan of tennis back when Roger was in his inaugural years, but it seems to me like Tsitsipas makes way to many unforced errors and his movements are too abrupt to allow him to maintain his pace. Plus he sucks at the net.
@wonderlandian84656 жыл бұрын
@@Leonardo-or1ll lol "he sucks at the net" Clearly someone who has not watched Tsitsipas throughout this year, like, at all. He is great at the net and he always looks to bring the game to the net.

Heard from Eurosport Germany that Danill ' s s very good student & was at one point studying International Relations ( if not mistaken) or something. Rublev in his RT documentary said he didn't even give 1% to his studies. Kachanov' s parents are doctors so he should be ok, IQ- wise? P.S: Andrey said last year he completed his education with sports degree or something so he can coach. He misses school for 2 months as he ' s away training not because he's trusnt.

That is the only part I don't really like education or basic knowledge is important if they don't want to go to college that's all right but complete school should be important.
