everybody can hit a dropshot. What makes Alcaraz's one a trademark is the total unreadability, given by his different arm movement prior and during the dropshot: the arm neves stops during the movement, while most dropshots on the tour are executed by blocking the wrist and the arm. As a result, his follow through is much more evident. This kind of dropshot is a lot more difficult than the basic one.

SABR = “S”neak “A”ttack “B”y “R”oger. I just got that🤯😂 Anyways, I like most of the signatures. However, I think the forehand rocket crown can go to other people. Juan Martin is a great candidate, for sure, but it’s not so much of an identifiable signature for him as it is for others. For example, Alcaraz (I know he has 2 then in this video, but still), Rublev, or Jack Sock.

Three of those shots were not part of the standard repertoire in top matches: SABR, diving volley, and the jumping backhand. Only one of those innovations spurred a significant change in the game, and that's Shapo's backhand. You see that regularly in both the men's and women's game. Of course, some people move up on a serve or dive for a volley, but there hasn't been a step-change in how people play with those two.
