At this point you don't even need to know Andrey to realize what a genuine pure soul he is... the fact that he wants to be a kid again shows the simplicity of his character. He always mentions kids are important to him, now the time he chose to go back to just shows he definitely believes in kids' innocent world. He gave the best answer (so honest and touching)
