I would be buying stock in Gen.G right now if I could. Khenail has high potential, and forms a solid backline with Crispy. TOPDRAGON is poised to take a leap with high potential as well, with Sauna covering hitscan. I think Sauna only has to (and will) play to a certain standard for his team to win, and will be better than people expected. Mag is a solid tank who is a team player and can cover enough heroes to play his role. I think the biggest thing people are underrating about this team is Crusty leaving Falcons to coach this team alongside Natdoekje. Those two are going to unlock TOPDRAGON and Khenail's play, and keep the rest of the team fairly consistent in their roles. My bet I want to revisit later is that they will be minimum top 3 EMEA barring any disasters or individual collapses outside of just Overwatch play. Really excited to see them this year!

@elmacho13369 күн бұрын
TM is for sure top 1. TU is basically ENCE and TM is basically SSG but with upgrades. Quartz is better than Sparkr and Irony is better than Landon. Youbi is worse than Backbone but they won't play him very often. SSG consistently outperformed ENCE last year so with the same core with a few upgrades I expect they'll do the same this year.

I think putting VP in third is insane, not to be a hater but I really don't think this roster has much potential. Also I think you're heavily underrating Al Qadsiah, QLM is insane, almost as good as Quartz imo, and the rest of the roster is nothing to scoff at either. I would probably rank the top 6 as: TM, TU, GenG, ALQ, VP

Idk i've never seen Junk Buck coach a bad team. Even when his teams arguably weren't well rounded (Houston when Danteh was on tank) he made the most of it. I know a coach can only do so much, but he must see something in AQ (Al Qadsiah)
@marianobarreto17789 күн бұрын
I take peps over AQ and Sakura Every day of the week, they played way better than both of those teams, they had a better Swiss and Pre-Stage, Sakura just got lucky they went up against Incendia, that played horrendusly Bad against them and Vision

i have team liquid at 1 too but mainly because of casores, i think he's really ban minded and created a team that will work around that, while i'm not too sure if unter can match that especially with having a hitscan player vs two hyperflex. although i do know unter still has a lot of thought that goes into bans but cas has that proven ability from ewc already

I have 3-4 teams this year i cheer for. 1st is Liquid and just for their strengths and lack of weakness and with their good coaches i think they can even get top 3 in the lans and even take maps off falcons and CR. 2nd is Al Qadsiah just because i like that team and feel they are underrated and actually hope they can get to lans. 3rd is Geng.. i feel this team is weird but in a good way, they have the pieces to be top 2 emea but just depends on how their chemistry is.. then 4th is T1.. i really was hopeful for this roster when leaks said Someone and Mer1t was gonna be on it but now they are not that good... based on their match against Zeta Division i think they can be top 3 in Kr and i just hope they can punch up and even defeat falcons.. i feel those players have never really gotten good results except maybe donghak.. and i hope they can show that they are superstar team.

NA will be more interesting in stage 2, with only two slots to hangzhou, it would be incredibly difficult for anyone but the two partnered teams to qualify. If NA does equal to EMEA in Hangzhou then they should have 4 slots for Midseason which will let some of the teams like NTMR, Timeless, Rad, and Avidity (maybe supernova/fluffy if they step it up and get promoted for stage 2) have a chance to qualify for LAN.

al qadsiah is good they can peak top 2 if haku was real, I don't think virtus pro is that good, like they have good players, but I think the roster was poorly built, i dont think vestola solo tank is good especially with hero bans, dps line is okay, and I feel like galaa is insane but you want to pair him with a flex support not a main support, so i think geng is a better team just because makes more sense aside from the dps line
@zululvivon24639 күн бұрын
Yeah if Haku didnt int so much they would have straight up won against TU in swiss stage
@elmacho13369 күн бұрын
I've never understood why people say Galaa is a main support player when he only played MS for VP because Khenail was a flex support player and they needed Lucio for hard meta. He's always been better on flex support picks like ana and Illari, he's really flexible like that. If they need him to play main support he'll do it well but he's finally back on his comfort role. This is literally the best outcome for him
@emistoast7 күн бұрын
@ the problem is not galaa, its fixa, galaa is flexible, fixa isnt. if they ban lucio, fixa can only play brig, but with galaa theres more options, hes like a budget viol2t like no doubt the guy is insane on flex but youre not getting all you can get from him

Seems like merit and someone were looking at the 3rd na partner and it fell through so they're taking a break for stage 1 instead. I think Sparkr just didn't get a spot on the top teams so is playing rivals instead which he got rank 1 worldwide so I don't blame him. I do hope Sparkr comes back soon though and he could as the GenG hitscan potentially

@@subjugue118 Sakura is a new team with players who've never played together before, meanwhile some of peps have been together since stage 2 last year. Not to mention that a lot of their roster are older, legacy players who lack the room to grow and improve, whereas Sakura has new prospects who will get much better over time.
