"For you to be happier", this is sweet yet a bit worrying. It seems that Andrey is unhappy even off court and Daniil looks concerned. Andrey has mentioned at least twice Daniil was poor when he was young, with only one racket when playing for quarter final.

Yeah that whole bit was telling 😢 Daniil is in such a good place in his personal life right now, that another slam win wouldn’t necessarily make him happier per se. But Andrey thinks (and Daniil knows this) that wining a grand slam would make them happier. When really, and that’s what Daniil most likely meant, he needs other things for that to happen.

Have you ever watched a Daniil Medvedev match? They both lack control at times, just in very different ways to each other.. except for a couple of instances recently, Rublev mostly takes his frustrations out on himself, Medvedev always takes them out on others. & people have turned Rublev into a meme so his bad moments always go viral. That aside though, agreed that they're both nice & humble guys👍🏽

That's why I love tennis so much (unlike football). With videos like this we are somehow so close to the players and because they (along with many others, such as Alcaraz and Sinner) are down to earth, you feel so close to them (at least that's how I feel) and not as if they are superstars and we're the people. Somehow more at eye level. Even if I don't always celebrate their reactions on court, they are such nice people - the comments here show it well. And it doesn't matter where they come from. It's about the people and not the country (even though Russia is certainly beautiful and I would love to see Moscow), one gentleman is ruining that. But back to them; I would find it intriguing, so interesting, what's behind Andrey's (if it even says Daniil, that's a true friend - didn't realise they were so close and have known each other for so long!) "not being happy". Whether it's repressed emotions, trauma or whether it's even from something else, like diet (anyone who knows about that knows what I mean) - to put it simply. So I wish Andrey in particular, but of course Daniil too, all the best and especially the former off the court. If he is only happy (but doesn't say it in this video) when he wins a match or even a tournament, then I think this would indicate something; only being enough/good when you are successful/have achieved something - trauma or deep hurts/beliefs.
