I know a lot of people big up some young DJs and always tout their age like it's a big deal, "only x years old" and whatever and like 90% of the time I'm unimpressed, but Brandan Duke is for real. This dude is fresh and I hope he keeps it up. Go get it in 3 Style and DMC homie. Also, this would've been a lot closer if he did a battle set the first round instead of a 3 Style type set. Still, big big up.

Ive seen a lot of routines of him and he does not really do very good battle style routines. Hes way better suited for 3 Style than for this. Yuto killed this kid. This was not even close... Yuto has WAAAAAAY more skill. But in my book he sometimes struggles with song selection.... his winning DMC set sounded like shit to me compared to his goldie's performance this year. Yuto is the clear winner here...

@bgt125 Agree 100%. Age shouldnt play a role here... but it still kinda does. Its always a good look for a comp when such a young dude wins. But yeah..K-Swizz would eat him alive. THAT kid from NZ most definately has a lot of skill.

@bgt125 I honestly think at 13 I'll probably enjoy listening to a Duke routine than a KSwizz. No offense to KSwizz, he's good, but I just watched his supremacy routine and it was just not fun. He can juggle and scratch, just dunno...wasn't fun to listen to.

People kept talking about Brandan's age, which is clearly phenomenal, but eventually, even without putting that variable in there, he is still really really good. Edit: I felt like it distracted from a lot of the dope stuff he did. I don't think it was like DMC winning stuff but it was good.
