The phrase "Murli ke dhun sun Radhike" from Tere Rang is based on raag Hameer. Perhaps the most popular use of this raag in Bollywood music is in Naushad Ji's "Madhuban mein Radhika nache re" whose first line has a very similar tune. Also the theme of the two lines is similar, maybe it was a subtle nod to the classic?

I think Chatur naar is based on multiple raags. The antara is definitely based on desh and the climax on tilang, and the opening is probably jhinjhoti. Not sure if hameer is also used there.

I think "Tumhein Mohabbat" is the most difficult song in this Album. What a Masterpiece ❤️ The perfect precision of emotions is very important in this song. And believe me Arijit sir has nailed it completely ❤️🙏🏻 No doubt he is one of the greatest and gifted singer in this Era same with Shreya Ma'am 😊. Other songs are also top notch. I like all the singers. You might be fan of others but criticising a particular singer everytime shows a bit of hatred. My all time fav is KK and Udit narayan but that doesn't make mean I like Arijit. Everyone had their time now it's Arijit. Even he is sidelined by Jubin now through Tseries.He had shown his range and versatility with different songs . If composers like AR,SEL,SLB wants him to be part of their every album regularly that definitely indicates he is classically and technically talented. I am not talking about new age composer like payal,tanishq,rochak as labels decide the singer and favouritism works now in industry

I think "Tere rang" is based on Raag Hamir which is indeed a very popular raag. But I am not sure, I may be wrong. Tumhein Mohabbat Hain is not based on a perticular Raag. It's based on a Raagmalika. A Raagmalika is a set of notes in which the Raag changes in every second line. It's an ambiguous collection of heterogeneous raags.

What I feel is there is vibe of Ajay-Atul kind of music arrangement in some of the songs.Their use of horn section,tumba,Rythm section,Strings,Chorus, Choir. And some songs are like Pritam compositions. Thats what I feel This album Is not like Rahman Sir's usual albums.

Would like to defend the “Little Little” song. Movie dekha nahin hai maybe tumne. Jo scenario tha, hostel with Dhanush being drunk and him dancing around with his hostel mates during the night. The song was perfect for that kind of setting. Movie dekhoge toh context ke saath songs kaaafi zyaada better lagenge tumko. Just a suggestion. Great video though! ❤️

The way he pronounces the words is why I like him the most and the song which you sang at the end of the video was beautifully sung. Sur, taal, specially the pronunciation was perfect but listen to what you sang and you'll know that the most important thing "feel" was missing. You just sang it without any feel (I'm not a hater) you're a great singer but feel is missing in your song.
