Oh my god. What a movie. After watching this movie, I found it has something different and other things to tell through emotions, not just about love. This movie didn't only touch our hearts but some social aspects of our society blended with emotions such as jabariya shadi, childhood trauma, honour killing, different cultures uniting, and yes Dhanush's one sided love (iconic✨) I thought this would be one of the cliches' love stories of bollywood but at the end it all made sense. Storyline is something different and yes Acting of Dhanush and Akshay was commendable. Sara also gave her best ❤✨👍🏼 If I would say anything about Rahman's Sir music it would be an understatement. What can i say about the songs of this movie when just his 'humming' voice in this song is stealing hearts.... OVERALL, It was a good watch and stars for the storyline again ❤✨ it's truly ATRANGI 😄

Just one scene, when she is about to go away, he is holding back tears, smiles and assures her that it’s all good and once she runs away… ohh the emotions starts to flow, aching pain in his heart and then to resign to his destiny. To emote it in a way that everyone else watching it would feel the same aching pain is the quality of such a brilliant actor. I just watch this song for that one scene… the emotional availability and performing it so honestly… hats off to this guy. A. R. Rahman & his never-ending love for flute starts taking the soothing shape from 0:20 sec. If someone listens to Rahman’s songs closely, they would know how deeply infatuated Rahman is with the instrument, flute. He always uses the flute to embrace the melody and create softness in the song. Tum Tak, Enna Sona, Naan Un, Saarattu Vandiyila, Tu Hai and many of his songs have a flute in dominant and subdominant ways. Also, as a Rahman fan, I know he always uses the right hearing side to add the flute. Listen to this ‘Rait Zara Si’ from 0:22 sec and pay attention to the right hearing side of your headphones, you will notice that a flute set in bass with a constant play of a melody which has no significance if it’s played separately; but Rahman adds it with the dominant flute melody and creates life in it. The flute is constantly played throughout the song. If you remember ‘Enna Sona’ by him, you may have noticed that he added flute melody along with the vocal melody of Arijit in the resolution of the song. He is never tired of instruments like flute, sitar, shehnai (his other one of the favourite instruments) and sarod & western instruments such as classical guitar and harpejji. The flute from 0:22 to 0:31 somewhat gives the vibes of the beginning of the song ‘Aalaporaan Thamizhan’ from Mersal. The sarod part from 0:31 sec is purely inspired (or I would say picked up) from the song ‘Jashn E Bahaara. (Listen to the sarod of Jashn E Bahaara from 01:27 sec). The main vocal melody 01:01 sec to 01:16 sec is inspired by his own song ‘Mazhai Kuruvi’. (Listen to the song’s melody carefully). The rhythm of the song is also the same as it is in ‘Mazhai Kuruvi’. He has picked up many elements from many of his previous songs to create this song. His foretold technique of using the flute is no surprise to me because he has been using it since the beginning and subconsciously gives our mind a state of peace…
