This scene was excellent. It brought back all the feelings, I remember playing that game thinking how cool it is we are ebwsting Zeus with just our hands. If you remember the screen would turn completely to blood but you could still hit Zeus and the game only mobed on when you stopped. Seeing Kratos hit Zeus in this just brought that back, and actually made ashamed of it, just like how Kratos feels. It just created a whole other level of connection

You know, I feel for Kratos. I really do. The only thing he wanted was to protect Atreus and never let him see the kind of man he was before. I personally believe Kratos was scared that if he was the man he was during those days, Atreus would either fear him, or become far too much like him. Another Ghost if you will. Thats why he trained him, both physically and mentally. He truly tried to be a good father after his 2nd wife's passing, but was so scared of the skeletons in his closet that he shared almost nothing with Atreus until forced to by Freya. Either that.... or he was scared of what he would do if he became the Ghost of Sparta once more.
