Not as bad as Brian's farming videos did last night. As long as no power poles are involved in no problem. 😂

Hey Andy, When your looking at forecast percentages of rainfall. The percentage isn't "chance" of rain. It's the percentage of your area that will receive rain. I hope that helps explains the % concept. Here's to another bin busting season 🍻

I’d say your golden retriever got lucky that you found him. And you are lucky to have found such a beautiful well behaved dog. They are very well behaved dogs. He will be a great family dog. Someone must have dumped him. We had a cat and a dog dumped near our farm over the years. And we of coarse kept them.

Play in l AI could see what you're saying about. You know, want to do it in no closer? The brown's silk, but I guess my thinking with that would be is you know, you don't want any chance at you know gosh forbid tar's spot would come in Southern rust. Anything like that? So I guess Dave, I've heard even call Yoder and no I can't think of the other people at the University of Illinois. Adorn agronomy say yet usually R1 to ride around R2 is more ideal. Because you wanna protect that year leaf? And above? And um research has shown anything after R2 turn round R3. What's too little too late? But I mean, I'd rather have some peace of mind, then not have no peace of mind and not have some insurance. But you also got insurance with God's help as well. I watch every one of your videos. All the way through and are you guys still needing? Help for harvest are tillage. Whatever may be and what would be the best way for me to get ahold of you. Eric kurtz Have you ever thought about or considered? Maybe looking at getting a spray drone. I'm just curious. Are you looking at possibly doing any weed, eventually? As a cover, crop art to least have some organic matter to prevent any weeds. 👍

I have heard a lot of opinions on fungicide timing. I think the growing season is most important. If it's fairly wet and humid all May/June, it would probably make sense to run at VT. I prefer to run when the silks start to get some brown without being crispy. That is closer to early R2. It gives you a large window. The data on average does show that a later application like R3 isn't as effective. However, if there is extremely disease pressure, some studies show a massive response from a late pass, but they still want to see an earlier one first. That's why I like to be in the middle with just 1 quality pass. I know a lot of farmers this year opted to not spray corn fungicide because of grain prices. I can understand that decision. Personally, I've seen some huge swings in yield even in a low disease pressure environment from fungicide application that I would never risk giving up. The spray drones lack efficiency. By the time that they are big enough to cover more acres, they will be too expensive to justify or too hard to get licensed for. Everyone talks about how nice they are, and I would agree, yet they normally fail to mention that most outfits recommend medium sized farms to run 2 drones to get 30ac/hr sprayed. That is $60k in just drones. You'd still have to get a trailer setup. At that point, you might as well just get the high clearance sprayer that can also spray herbicide at high carrier rates!
