I have a friend that has a ritual with this. It's a pretty heavy fucked stuff. That was around early 00's and we were not using internet yet. He had 3 tapes from abruptum. I've never ever listened to this kind of ... black before. We begun drinking and he told me to did the ritual or leave. The thing is simple: Inhale glue and listen to it in the bedroom with the tape recorder on and low light. I did. That was HELL ITSELF! I never did it again. I would love to do it... someday maybe.

Continuing the history, March just begun... that's why I remembered and came to listen to this. He does it around march (I know he still doing it.). As I read in one comment ... once heard, never forget. I don't live there anymore to do it in his house or so. Abruptum, the March band since then. One March, I will do that again. I recommend it actually. If you live alone, go for it. If you like this shit, go for it... but is heavy stuff. Really heavy.

Early A was all extremely chaotic..even moreso than here..its perpetual hell..sounds from under a bad grave..I was always peeved at my deathmetal friends for not letting me play more abruptum...it always had to be napalm or death..etc..i loved this while doing my needle work..after all im freakin 51..never grew out of this stuff tho..

One of my prized posessions (hehe \m/) is the original DSP CD pressing of this. The cover of that is just the Abruptum logo, "Obscuritatem Advoco Amplectere Me", and everything else - spine, tray insert, CD, etc is just black. The insert opens out w pictures of Evil and It, the DSP logo and track listing (O.A.A.M. I and II), but the total blackness of the presentation really couples with the sonics, and gives a meaning to the DSP mantra of "No Mosh / No Core / No Fun / No Trend".

Yeah except this album came out in like 93. Whoever the fuck Gnaw their Tongues is I have no idea but when I first heard this album in like 97 I was blown away, and still am today.
