he struggled more than the other boys honestly, he was in love with Menma but he knew that she didnt like him the same way, Idk that feeling is one of the worst. He had to cope with her death and nobeing loved by her. Anari and Tsuruko were similar cases, those 3 are honestly the most interesting to me.

Can't hate Yukiatsu too much or any of the Anohana surviving Peace Busters group since they been through so much emotionally after the loss of a close friend. The characters bare the varying degrees of mourning and emotional scars after such a traumatic event and I rooted for each member to try to recover, rekindle their old friendships, and move on positively..

Honestly, Yukiatsu is one of my favorite character because of his past and his love for Menma. And I ship soooo hard Yukiatsu and Menma, I know I’m the only one 😭😭😭

Oh, you mean the cross dressing? He felt responsible & people cope with loss in different ways, I never really saw that as anything Anime-Centric. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Even for anime fans it can feel a bit odd and out of left field - but I think it’s supposed to be.

Ah, the come-hither gesture or beckoning sign. In other cultures, especially in Asian countries, the gesture could be seen as offensive and not acceptable. I guess Yukiatsu was just teasing Anaru that time after saving her.
