11 years since you made this video, still very useful. Thank you Sir.

Very informative, I just got a Newtonian for Christmas and purchased a camera adapter and a Barlow lens today!

Excellent video. This man would make a fantastic teacher. I really learned a lot on this subject through this video, despite earlier having some trouble understanding the things that come with camera/telescope attachments.

Thank you... had the camera adapter an age and given up trying to get it to focus. Decided to have another go because Mars is so close at the moment and found your video, which explained it so well, (working great now!) thanks again! :-)

On some telescopes you can screw the columnation screws enough in to get focus without barlow, use the 2 inch connection to get the camera even closer to the telescope.

You, sir, are a lifesaver. Thank you very much. I own a Nikon D90 and have just ordered the SkyWatcher Explorer-200P/1000 EQ5 Telescope. This video just answered my questions about combining these two great tools and focusing the camera. Very well done - as is usual with your videos.

Brill. I was at a loss when I was trying to attach my camera. Knew I was missing something 😁. Thank you.

That clarified perfectly how to get my first telescope (Dobson, luckily) and Canon together :) Thank you!

Skywatcher are fantastic with their design to allow you to easily attach your camera to the scope and achieve focus.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm starting with astrophotography, and I was completely overwhelmed about T rings, adapters, Barlow lenses... I don't even have a telescope yet to know all of them 😂 this gave me really good information for making a decision ☺

Thanks for this video. Very handy. keep in mind you can also bring the camera lens a little forward by using a special thin T2 adapter.

How exactly does this work?

Part ordered and it looks like I won't have to mod my scope! Can't thank you enough...

I've just cut down the tube 40mm to shorten the focal Length and cut down the focuser another 8mm. Works great. No barlow needed so I don't zoom in even further and keep my f ratio down.

11 1/2 years later and it is still reasonable. Maybe should update with something about mirrorless cameras.

If there just would be a coma corrector for 1.25" focusers or at least for their T-thread ...

Please show us how to attach a DSLR to one of the Sky-Watcher ED Refractor Telescopes. Specifically the 80 mm or the 100 mm.

I wonder if someone can help me please? I have a Nikon D3000 DSLR and wish to attach it to my telescopes (not all at the same time) I have all the parts required, but when I remove the lens from the camera it flashes the "Lens isn't attached" warning. This stops the camera from working. Is there some way to disable the warning so the camera can be used?
@YaleTink4 жыл бұрын
Do you have your camera in auto mode when you do this? I think it should stop if you put it in manual mode.
