It’s like a 2 frame window between c stick and jump

The timing is strict for both techniques, you need to do each button and stick input within a few frames of each other - it won't work otherwise

You could use it for quick RARs if you're not used to using only the left stick. You can also use it for certain kill confirms like Roy and Chrom's jair (jab-back air)

Edge guard or combos out of grab. Character specific but someone like chrom can do jab to bair as a confirm. Pretty useful tech

this is the clearest explanation in what the difference is, I have since the game started trying to understand attack cancel and always confused the inputs, I got to be able to perform IRA with my main ken, then found with other characters I couldn't but I could with the attack cancel input and thought it was the same, but the characters had that nuance.

Even thought they look similar the inputs are not similar at all as you said. No one will missinput an attack cancel and get an irar.

Note that there's a 3rd way to rar, and it allows you to full hop reverse aerial. I think it's a dash attack cancel: Inputs: ➡️,, ⬅️ + JUMP,, ➡️ + A And the other 2 in this video: RAR: ➡️,, RUN ANIMATION,, ⬅️ SKID,, JUMP,, ➡️ + A IRAR (Attack Cancel Bair): ➡️,, ◀️ Tilt Stick,, JUMP

No, I don't think so - you can't cancel smash attacks into other actions like you can with tilt stick

Could you make a video on Claw Grip? I always saw pros using it but I didn’t realize there’s actually form to it. Sorry, not sure how a video on claw grip would look, but I’m interested to learn more

the way i do it is i hold the left side like normal with left thumb on stick and left index on left trigger and on the right side i have the knuckle of my left index button on Y and my middle finger on the right trigger. i use my thumb for the stick, A, B, and X buttons. i very rarely use Z but when i do i just move my index finger back and forth between Y and Z
