They need to lower the ceiling on the heli, you can sit there all game and nothing can lock onto you.

Yeah, and it's also rather boring to play after a little while. Especially for the pilot. In addition to a lower ceiling I'd implement a quicker overheat for the main gun in high elevation. And a more sluggish response to steering so the helicopter becomes easy to kill by the AA tank when flying high. I think the goal should be to have low flying, quick helicopters that project power over infantry only in a limited area (when compared to countering vehicles) and get shot down by unguided missiles or tank shots, because those are awesome moments.

I strongly oppose lowering the altitude ceiling for helicopters. Currently, 550 meters is the maximum ceiling range, while stingers can lock on you below 400 meters mark. In scenarios where enemy anti-aircraft (AA) units are targeting you, and two enemies are ready to fire stingers, survival becomes extremely challenging, especially considering the reload time for flares. If a decision is made to lower the altitude ceiling, it is imperative to also reduce the flare reload time to maintain balance. Nerfing helicopters would significantly undermine their effectiveness. While they can indeed be game-changers when used skillfully, they also should not be made too easy to destroy. In capture mode, it is crucial for teams to utilize their helicopters strategically to counter enemy helicopters. Otherwise, it might be difficult to destroy them, especially if the team isn’t cooperating effectively. This lack of coordination is one of the main issues leading to calls for helicopter nerfs.

being on the gunner is so easy for any vehicle in this game. not a fan of piloting the chopper though, gunner is guaranteed massive kills

For me I enjoy plying as a pilot more cause I’m the one who is making that gunner get easy kills and stay alive the whole match while he can help our team get more objectives and provide a good cover to them

Zena, for the helicopter movement: try raising your sensitivity or use a different set of DPI for it. I use 400 DPI for infantry/tank combat and 800 for the rest of my games, computer use and helicopter flying in Delta Force. I had the same issue with BF2042 on the Russian jet before S6 when they patched movement physics of both jets. With higher sens or DPI the movement feel less clunky and more responsive. Also the lvl 10 rockets are extremely OP against vehicles!

You know the game have individual sensitivity for heli 1st person/3rd person/gunner aim sens. You can have whatever sens you are currently using without the need of changing your dpi. Don't get me wrong, you can do whatever you feel like it im just saying you don't have to do all this work in order to get a sens you feel confy lol

i tried bieng a gunner for the first time good thing pilot was pretty good but man i cant stop moving my head when my POV keeps rotating

helicopter felt pretty broken, is very easy to avoid counters, the flare cooldown time is a little short imo

I feel for a 30mm they need to buff that a bit. you should be able to melt inf when in groups ect not just one or two

I think the challenge here is balance. You want the gunner to be effective without being overwhelming for the ground troops

You prob inverted your keys in some setting. The default is not like that, W goes up S go down, i move mouse to right the heli moves in that direction

I dislike players who hide in vehicles. Heli is afraid and hides in a distance (behind the mountain or high in the sky). Same for cowards hiding in a tank, mostly in their spawn zone. Sadly, these cowards are in every game. To be a coward or not to be. Choice of the player. I like your content, but this is not oké.

You’ll be alright. My job is to farm the crops. There are no rules telling me how to do that so I’ll accomplish this goal however I see fit

Give it time. Devs are aware of this boring spamming. No skill required. Once this game is launched and other players get better you will get AA pressure. Those are most likely bots you are farming 😂

I have no control over the players on the enemy team. I simply play the game and farm the crops. I’m not worried about real players they are just as dumb.
