It can't be better than I remember if I keep rewatching it on a monthly basis. I've never been into reaction videos, nor someone who rewatches shows at all, as a matter of fact, but I'm addicted to seeing this show through the eyes of unexpecting viewers.

Not just my favorite show, it’s probably my favorite story. Before, my favorite story was the Stormlight Archive, with the first book i picked up back in 2012 or so. But in the past year i think AoT surpassed this story for me. I visited Japan for the first time from the States last month, and just by coincidence and sheer luck the Last Attack movie came out during the time of my trip to Japan. So the most precious memory of that trip was of me, sitting next to a girl who went by herself (I know she was by herself because i bought my tickets before her and made sure to leave one seat between me and a group of four) and we are crying hard during a certain character’s death. For me to share this pain and moment with some complete stranger, from a totally different culture and from across the world from me, was just so special. It was a connection i never dreamed of. My friend who lived in Tokyo and watched the movie with me, didn’t know anything about it, wondered why everyone was crying in that theatre. It was a Wednesday night and it was PACKED. Packed full of crying patrons. Unforgettable. Thanks for this video.

Ive got 26 and had seen plenty of shows, movies, games, stories, pieces of fiction, you name it. Never in a lifetime I would have tought that an anime would be the best story ive ever watched unfold and became my absolute favourite. I cant express in words how much I love this masterpiece. Hell, I even love it so much I got Eren's key tattooed on one of my wrists. We will never experience such a deep, complex and goated story like this and if we do we'll be extremely lucky. Thanks Isayama, from the bottom of my heart.

@@DareToEntertain Dude, same. I was bored af during covid and had nothing to watch. I gave AOT a try because the first episode was so special. The music, the foreshadow, eren's dream, the setting, the vibes. It was damn too good to not watch it. Glad to see people experience the same thing. Anime is a good medium for stories when done correctly. You've earned a new sub bro. Cool video. Have a good end of year.

I remember sitting in the car talking to my mom about a show about man eating titans that I was mildly interested in watching. I wasn’t super excited to watch it and it was mostly something I was just gonna watch for the heck of it. When I watched that first episode I couldn’t stop. I binged through 8 episodes in one day and this is coming from someone who hates binge watching. Once I got to the end I was absolutely amazed by what I had just watched. I would’ve never guessed that this show that I was only somewhat interested in would end up being one of my favorite shows of all time. This Christmas my parents got me a full collection of Attack on Titan Blu-ray’s. My dad said that he wants to start watching it with me so I can’t wait to take him on this beautiful and epic journey.

There’s is literally only a couple of shows that I enjoy near as much as AOT (Vinland, ATLA, Frieren, arcane) but none come close to AoT plot structure. It seems every show just has their hands tied behind their back. Not a single one has even tried to rival it. It’s madness.

AoT hooked me from the very first episode. Which is ironic because I only watched it because a friend forced me to give it a shot (I never liked anime, I was certain that it would be some goofy children's show, and I was certain I would not like AoT). But by episode 5, I was utterly hooked. And in the end, AoT did not only become my favorite show of all time. Every single aspect that I can think of about AoT is a 10/10 for me. AoT made me start loving anime as a whole. And thanks to AoT, anime has basically been the only thing I have watched ever since. AoT, and AoT alone gets all the credit for getting me into anime

AOT is my all time favorite piece of anime/manga even after seeing dozens of anime, and read tons of manga and even light novels that fact still hasn’t changed. It has everything I love in a great story with so much detail and love packed into every aspect of it. Every second is important, every piece of dialogue matters, watching it for the first time is a transcendent experience and then watching it again is an equally great experience because you get to notice all the subtle and even not so subtle foreshadowing throughout its entire run, which just gives you even more appreciation for Isayama as a writer. Great video! I’d honestly be interested in seeing how you’d rank every anime you’ve seen/manga you’ve read.

Yeah, nothing has topped AOT yet. I remember watching the very first episode and hating it because of Carla's death, then out of boredom I decided to give the 2nd a chance. From then on I was hooked permanently, this is despite the fact that I was spoiled on majority of its twists. Its meditation on the nature of humanity has so much depth. It is truly the greatest.

amen, this show will always hold the crown in my heart. No show has quite accomplished the same level across the board. Many have come close, and there is many great series (non anime included). No discredit to them, but AoT is a rare accomplishment we are lucky to have experienced. I've never seen a show with so many opportunities to fumble the ball not only deliver, but monumentally surpass what I could have anticipated.

I just re-watched the entire show a couple weeks ago. At first, AOT was also one of my very first animes, but over the past couple years I've gone full wannabie-American Otaku and now have a ton of shows under my belt. (I just checked MAL and I have 78 shows/movies under "Completed.") And this rewatch proved that it still may be both my favorite (and tbh imho the best) out of all of them. Nothing else makes me *feel* every emotion I have ever experienced (dialed to 11) and nothing else has me constantly thinking "this is the best show...no the best piece of *fiction* (of any format!) I have ever experienced!" Edit: FWIW, on MAL you rate the shows 1-10/10. Out of the 78 shows on my list, here are the shows that along with Attack on Titan I gave the perfect 10 rating: Neon Genesis Evangelion (including The End of Evangelion,) Gurren Lagan (same studio!) Frieren Beyond Journey's End (I'm sure you've heard about this one, everyone's going Gaga over this right now, and they're not wrong,) Monster, Vinland Saga I guess that list isn't too surprising. But a 10/10 is tough. There are 10 or so more I rated a close 9, and I didn't include movies here...in any case all of it is better than recent MCU or Disney+ Star Wars (not counting the wonderful show Andor) etc...

Attack on Titan is one of if not the greatest to ever do it for me. It made me the most apprehensive I’ve ever been to continue watching new shows because of the standard it set into my very being. The amount of times I’ve had to watch it vicariously through reaction channels is bordering on unhealthy 😂. But now I’ve reached a point where I’m okay with where it stands in the pantheon; and I’m able to move on at the same time and experience more stories again. Time heals all and AoT left a gaping wound/void for a while. I’m looking forward to my eventual rewatch though and you can bet I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure I’m in theaters for the release of the last two specials/“episodes”. It in fact is better than we remember.
