Yeah...Mikasa's answer was like the last straw and noweren is irredeemable and did a very tropey dick move and mikasa doesn't even wear The scarf, the holy grail of this story, anymore....I can't wait for them to meet again and confront each other one last time for the finale of AOT. Their relationship has been a central focus of the series since Ch 1 and the tension's been building for the absolute finale.

I was first dissapointed at the difference between aot 1-3 and 4. But Isayama is a genius so he managed to make gabi, falco, pieck and other new characters a part of the story just as much as jean, levi or sasha. So I love it now. But I fear that aot is loosing its identity. It was a mature post apocaliptic story with grey morality characters. But what is it now? Its still amazing (heck yeah maybe even better than ever) but its identity changed.

People always compare Reiner, Erwin, and Gabi to Eren due to how their development works but i think there's a case to be made for every character to be the same. Mikasa is a great example of this. she watched her parents get killed when she was very young, was told to kill someone afterwords, and was forced to follow along no matter what ever since. even if she was in the wrong, she kept moving forward.
