The second time though, he avoided direct confrontation and used Levi's subordinated to gang up on him. He thought Levi is fearsome in 1v1 situations, not 1v10s. He did underestimate Levi, but that was acceptable. Next ep? People should remember that there was no archive nor evidence that Attack Titan can see the future or be influenced by said future memories. Everyone, including Zeke, thought that Attack Titan was just a combat titan much like Female. It's not Zeke's fault that he cannot predict Eren's next move. Yes, Eren is a chad, but that doesn't mean Zeke is a fool.

The original title in Japanese was “The older brother and younger brother”. It must also refers Falco and Colt, and Porco and Marcel. Another interesting part in Japanese language is the way how younger brothers calls their olders are different between them. Porco calls Marcel as “aniki”, which is really casual, friendly and men’s way of speaking (like “yo my big bro!😎”) but Falco and Eren calls their bros as “Ni-san☺️”, sounds pretty polite or respectful. Given Eren’s usual way of speaking, normally “aniki” fits more. It’s clear that Falco uses “ni-san” respectfully, but in case of Eren, it sounds like he is keeping his distance away from Zeke by using polite word. I believe Eren uses “ni-san” on purpose because he knows that Zeke wanted to be called “older brother”, and to make Zeke believing him as comrade. Hope helps enjoying more!

Porco protecting gabi and falco from part 1 , gabi and falco calling reiner to save galliard shows how much he cared for them... Nile's last moments , he wished to see his daughters and so in memory of his daughters he let falco go.... pyxis's last moments , As the commander he always chose to lead his people to victory no matter the cost from season 1 . When eren was a unknown titan shifter he let eren go reclaim trost and so in this ep He lead a suicide charge against marley... Porco's last moments , He wanted to prove that he was worthy of the armour but instead got the jaw ...his brothers jaw ... , during his last moments he tapped into his brothers memories and saw that he was the better man ... and so in the end he did what his brother did a long time ago... protected reiner and falco.....

Had exact same sort of reaction as a manga reader and my spouse isn't. Only hint I told him is that in this season "stuff gets real." He was like "you mean it hasn't already?" last season lol. I noticed that Eren is extending his arm, signaling Zeke to not scream yet, surely not because of Colt and Falco...he didn't know them. But, maybe, he did that because he is also concerned of the guys that he know, turning into titans, like Pyxis, etc.

You’re right. The original plan was to go into the path before the scream but Eren hoped by then he would have full control and wouldn’t use the scream because he didn’t want those who drank the wine to die and turn to titans. But then things didn’t go according to plan (obviously) because of the surprise attack.
