Thank you so much for being here! This has a been a labour of love for David and I over the last couple of years - Attack on Titan is an incredible series with a unique and iconic soundtrack, and every part of this project was such an exciting challenge. Let me know if you're an Attack on Titan fan and what your favourite music / scenes from the show are! 🛡

I'm not an ATTACK ON TITAN fan but I'm a fan of the amazing soundtrack... I love soundtracks and from the most iconic John Williams to the amazing Hans Zimmer... betweew them there's a lot of soundtracks that I love but I not a fan of the game or movie or series... I just for the excellent music... And you were both great... cello with guitar, it's not knew to me... I like it... and this work, from both of if you, it's perfect! My Congratulations for you both!

I would be so curious to heard the medley as well if you think that’s an idea! AOT is so good and y’all did soooo well! It would be neat to see how you could put it together in the medley format!

@@nicholasdyee You are welcome... I love cello, my kids play cello, specially my teen princess... she also loves play soundtracks in the Orchestra where she is first cellist... and she loves challenges! Like me, she loves to hear you playing cello! It's a "cello family"!
@nicholasdyee9 ай бұрын
@@RandomPerson-ql8py Ooh we arranged the medley but didn't end up recording it! I think it didn't have the flow we wanted because deep down we really wanted to celebrate how unique these pieces are. We were also trying to pack a lot into it, for example having David switch to an electric guitar to play the Colossal Titan theme for a few seconds 😅

I couldn’t agree more. This sets a whole new standard for music videos. Once I finished this video, I assumed there would be millions of views, but it is currently sitting at 20k. For the quality of this piece, that is criminally underrated.

Thank you! I think different people definitely got invested or uninvested at different parts since the story structure can be polarizing. I probably really hooked around season 3, the music was always a big reason to keep coming back though!

When you arrange this do you write out an all cello part and hand parts over to David? I feel like the technical limitations are so different for the instruments that to get this amazing blend between them you’d have to have an intimate knowledge of both instruments. Whatever it is this is AMAZING!
@nicholasdyee9 ай бұрын
Wow really great question! It's definitely important for each person to have freedom with their instrument's role since they know it the best. Usually we'll get together to decide on the structure and overall arrangement, then we'll independently work on our arrangements and recordings. We'll go back and forth on the arrangements and then again on the recordings to make sure it's all fitting together effectively ✌️
