As someone who came hard against mappa last half of this season bc of the cgi, I'll say so far it's a major improvement, idk what they did but the cgi doesn't look as jarring, it still doesn't have the same "feel" as the first 3 seasons but for what they are going for it's much better.

I'm not normally into heavy metal as a genre but damn this op is so good and the visuals are amazing too. I literally screamed when those shots of Hange and Levi showed up and nearby teared up at Armin, Mikasa and Eren running together. Mappa and SiM have done such an amazing job

Exactly my opinion. There are a lot of people who say they would have liked an opening like red swan. But I think exactly this heavy metal is perfect for the time of war and this tension. We have a very sentimental ending, which I think shows this "red swan mood" very well. Personally, I think the opening and ending are perfect for the last season.

@@marcok.1214 this is super SUPER blatant and a lot of spoilers to season 4 first half: They took the Warhammer from Marley, got sasha dead, and abducted zeke. blah blah blah dinner and zeke's back sweat was put in the world's greatest wine which a crap ton of eldians drank (including falco who got smashed in the head by a bottle and had a sip enter his mouth) Zeke who was with levi in the forest screams and transforms all who drank the wine around him (which was only levi's squad) into titans. Levi immobilizes zeke but zeke enables a thunder spear and immobilizes levi and himself but he survives and levi ??? (not revealed in that season) Eren kidnaps after breaking up with armin, mikasa, gabi, and several other friends of his including Chef sasha simp, Falcon, and others with Floch and his crew's help. Eren gets pieck and tries to get her to point to where the enemy is. Pieck points at Eren's hella clean sneakers and reveals Galliard right under him, galliard bounces out and gets eren to transform, blimps from marley come featuring some soldiers, reiner, and others. Eren gets ready to fight everyone and is waiting for Zeke's arrival.
