I think the game is well made and runs alot better than my port to quest, but the issue what I am seeing is that the skill ceiling is incredibly low which does not really reward continuous play. I feel like this is a evolution of AOQ where it is a pick up and play, arcadey style, feel good game, but does not really reward skill or replicate the feeling of dread or defeat from the anime, where the VR fangame one we make is more rewarding (in my opinion) since the skill ceiling is almost infinitely high. If they add full body rotation, wall running, options to disable accessibility settings, it can be a very good addition to the Aot VR library, but until then I guess you can find us at Attack On Titan VR : Fangame 😁

Also another thing I found interesting is watching footage of people who never played AoT VR fangame play the unbreakable one compared to one who has is a alot of the skills actually do translate or transfer. The best AoT VR Fangame players are almost immediately good at Unbreakable compared to newcomers. Pretty intriguing.

This I kind of agree with. I never played any of the fangames and I have maybe 5 hours on the game and on the 5th level in chapter one as I am writing this am currently in 19th place. I'd like for more improvements to the movement so there at least a little more of a skill cieling.

This looks incredible. One idea, and IDK if this exists at this point in time, but some sort of secondary sensors that can be strapped to the hip to simulate the true control of the ODM gear. So you'd have the two mounted, pointed sensors on a belt sort of deal at the waist, then your controllers in your hands, and lastly the headset. Like I said, IDK if this exists at this point in time, but anything is possible!

honestly this as the official game is kinda pathetic but understandable. its just really sad cause a lot of the fan made AOT vr games work better and have cooler movement. feels like a massive step backwards for honestly no reason besides catering to people who shouldnt be playing a movement game like that in the first place. it really does make me sad. they handicapped the game and limited the skill ceiling. it felt so real when playing and having to get good with the gear and the swing and momentum but when you go it it made it that much more rewarding you know? feel like that aspects been completely eliminated. its ruined for me personally.

What I don’t really like about this game, except for the things people have already commented about the skill ceiling. Is the campaign, I did not really understand what was happening because there really wasn’t much of a story being told. I do hope the campaign is different when the game is actually released. I do like the movement controls, though. But it could be better. I also wish that you needed to actually pull the blades out instead of just moving the handles to the hips.

I don't think we were too quick to judge, the gameplay trailer graphics were worse than the game, it made the gameplay look worse than it was, and the fps in the trailer was ridiculous. Glad that they improved things before they released the actual thing, the game is really fun and way better than the trailer made it look.
