@@mitchdevi6432 he just got whacked by a bear, he would've had some degree of shock. I'd think of the same idea to document things if the worst happened and also to check out how my face and head was. Hanging around for 15 minutes was probably a mistake but after how the bear ran off squealing in pain I also thought she won't come back. His whole survival is nothing short of a miracle, including the curious bear at the end.

He made the decision to be calm. Just to try overcome his ordeal was quite complicated given his face was ripped off. He had to really focus and adapt to accomplish achieving each step. To say his calm was simply shock is minimizing the situation he overcame. He showed amazing fortitude and steely grit. Most people would have laid down and died from shock. Not this man. He proved to be a very intelligent, fiercely brave man that loves his family so deeply that he pushed through his terrible pain and challenges and won. @5GreenAcres 13 күн бұрын
He did give up. He pulled the trigger and GOD saved him. God and his guardian angels also put the necessary fear in him by the accidental second shot that missed his face. Sadly, he has to get in touch with his spirituality. If this lesson didn't bring him to his senses I have to wonder what it will take.
@Idky547
@Idky547 16 сағат бұрын
@@5GreenAcresOR we can look at it logically and realize guns misfire ALL the time at random. No gun is 100% and perfect and won’t have a misfire. It was sheer luck what happened to this man. It was luck mixed with will to see his child and wife again after the gun misfired, most likely because he loaded it wrong due to not being able to see and probably jammed it for a second. It wasn’t god or angels. If it were god, he wouldn’t have let this man get treated like a chew toy 3 times in a row. If god had a part to play, I figure he woulda helped the guy out after the first bear attack and made it so the bear missed him the second time rather than it being the gun that missed. Adrenaline is a powerful thing. If it can make a woman lift an entire car to save her child (it’s been documented and seen before) then I’m pretty sure the adrenaline could keep this man going enough to get help. WE make our own outcomes and destiny. Not some mythical being in the sky that goes against every fact of the timeline of history. My chances of being religious went out the window when I saw a group of Christian’s arguing with someone over the existence of dinosaurs! 😂

Edit: right after I typed the question about him being a believer he answers the question and I'm even more amazed that he is not a believer. So sad. So he clearly believes that he went through all of that and made it out alive by his own strength. That's crazy to me. Even the will to live comes from God. He gave us life and the will to live even under the most extreme circumstances. The Bible says that every knee shall bow and worship him. Jeremy is really strong and has a sense of humor like my friend Heather who was in a horrible car crash and the car exploded and she was burned all over. Much like Jeremy she looks really good. They are both lucky they look normal. I wouldn't look at Jeremy and think he had severe facial injuries like what happened. Its humor and keeping depression away. It's like switching the thoughts that go through the mind. I hope Jeremy has all of his hopes and dreams fulfilled. Make this horrible event into something amazing!! His story is a lesson to anyone going in the woods but the freezing in fear is HORRIBLE. WE ALL HAVE THAT RISK. We don't know what we would do when faced with REAL DANGER, THREAT TO OUR LIVES. ALL THE BEST TO JEREMY❤

Hello from Ontario Canada 😢 my dear God, I have seen this young man's bear attack storey a while ago and I kid you not it gives me shivers from head to toe! By all rights this man was mere seconds from death! To have the bear leave for ten mins after the first attack you'd be looking up to the sky and thanking the big guy. Then to have that beast come at him again! Omg!!! It wanted him dead. This man survived for a good reason! His sweet baby girl was on his mind and in his heart. People surviving this multiple attacks normally just don't get to walk away. 😢 I could listen to this man tell his storey and each time it really leaves me knowing that a power greater than himself was walking with him. One very lucky man. One very lucky baby girl gets to have daddy at her wedding. Your a very, VERY, lucky young man. ❤😊

It's an amazing nervous system reaction, as the massive release of adrenaline makes your body shift into "Fight or Flight" mode, and your brain blocks pain until you can do one or the other. Until the shock starts and adrenaline subsides, then pain will start. But a true will to survive has you too focused on fighting for your life to feel the initial pain. It's such an intense story of survival! Impressive strength to survive.💯

Definitely a miracle. I literally have a bear phobia from watching the movie “Grizzly” years ago. That movie has always stuck with me and created a bear phobia in me afraid of this very thing happening to me. People laugh, and say bear attacks are rare… I don’t care! The very fact that it happens confirms my phobia. His story is completely a miracle. I would have died of a complete panic attack from fear that the bear is following me, or that some other wildlife creature smells the blood and would be attacked any moment. However, being in shock is also a survival mechanism. I can completely understand his PTSD. I’ve never been attacked but that movie put incredible fear and traumatized me. Incredible story of survival. Great medical team. And I hope his marriage and relationship with his family is stronger than ever. Happy he can laugh about it now and find some humor in some of it.
