Hey folks! I'm back again.
I went to the mountains for a Hot tent camping trip , the camp site was inside a beautiful old cedar forest, it was windy and cold & the weather forecast expected a coming storm , my favorite weather anyway, due to the cold weather i was expecting some snow but all what i got is some Violent hailstorms and high winds and very cold night!

A real no no, camping under large trees when you know there is a high wind alert Danger, danger. . Large trees either fall over or break off limbs in heavy wind. Many thanks for this informative video. God bless.

@@Sullitude87 I live in Maine where we have huge Oak, Maple, Cedar, Elm, Chestnut, Willow, and Hawthorne hardwoods. I've seen wind snap branches off. Anyone who camps under a tree, especially in the wind, rain, and snow, is playing footsie with the Grim Reaper.

Your hot tent videos caught my eye since I've been looking at getting a Pomoly Stovehut, and it was very helpful to see one being used in multiple real-world conditions. Also thanks for showing your compact carbon monoxide detector - I hadn't known something that size was available, so again a very helpful bit of information. And while I'm happy enough with the camping opportunities here in the northeast USA, you've got some incredible scenery over there in Algeria! 🤩 Thanks very much for sharing, and hope you continue to enjoy and share your trips!

@@bushcraftcampfire There is no such thing as Anthropogenic Global Warming and Climate Change. The Earth is actually cooling. Haven't you had healthy snows in Algeria and Morocco over the past few years?

Yes we have snow but not that much as the old days! Things are changing especially in the mountains, cedar trees stopped growing under the elevation of 1200 m! In the past you can find it even in the 600 m elevation, this is just an example and there is alot!

Great old growth cedar forest- makes for a great setting for a campsite- as long as there aren't any dead falls over head- reminds me of camping in some of the state parks in my state-

Love the sound of rain on a tent. Equally nice is a hot fireplace. I wouldn't do it solo myself, I need company. I thought you would get a foot pump to pump up mattress instead of bagging it. Happy New Year ☔⛺
