Congrats on the child Rob. On an aside, I hope you got to see Fort Markifoot overlooking The Latch. We had built up a massive BB on the hill to the East of the town and used it to thwart many Collie pushes up the road. We literally had 2-3k shirts & 20-25k bmats in that thing at any given time. It was only approachable by infantry on three narrow trails so it was incredibly easy to defend. It did eventually fall, I'm not sure how as it happened while I was offline. I'm assuming massed artillery fire must have been used, armor couldn't reach it and infantry would get mowed down every time they tried to climb up. It was a truly magnificent base, wish I knew who built it.

I love the sniper rifle, but it’s a situational weapon. You ideally hit stationary targets with it, which means you ideally use it when attacking a defensive position, or when the frontline is stable. Its great for sniping people manning tripod guns, people in trenches, or sniping medics behind the front.

Congrats on the babby! Great video as usual, these must be pretty hard to make, gather all the troop movement info, gather the clips and then assemble the video. As for your driving, i see that you're driving in the middle of the road. You can actually drive further to the outside of the road, even with your right side tires on the outside of the road itself and it won't affect velocity (at least not noticeably to me). Exceptions are when that side of the road has some object that invades into the road (walls, solid debris) and will easily collide with you, or if there's a train track area (in that case, the other driver, if he has the space on his side, should yield and himself drive with two tires on the outside of the road). In those situations, i drive further to the middle of the road, but can still not be exactly in the middle. Another aspect is of course to point the mouse cursor as further ahead into the incoming road as possible to see (or hear) incoming trucks, and either veer a little off the road when they're near, or slow down (but that ability to see ahead down the road is dependent on the truck being driven, larger trucks don't have much look ahead vision, while smaller trucks can see ahead further, predict and attempt to dodge you). Also, when possible, use the darker (wider) roads (which kind of have two lanes) instead of the white ones which are one lane only. PS: one more thing: if you're on the right side of the road, and they're on the wrong lane and smash into you head first, do not move, ever. Get up and have a stretch, take a walk. Sometimes i just back away a little and go forward again not turning an inch. (Exceptions in logi areas where it's a free for all to enter/exit/allow access for others to logistical facilities).

I was fighting there once mainly my regiment is fighting in stilican but the battle for the latch was going for nearly 12-15 days . I was fighting with armor there, many of our colly tanks tried flanking from a valley and died to the Starbreaker they had there that's when suddenly the enemy tanks pushed us luckly at that moment 2 super tank came arrived to aid us and we managed to stay alive.

So this is what was happening while I was at the scath, huh? 😂 We had our own little battle at the scath too, smaller, but just as exciting!

I’m not good at retelling stories, but I really felt like it was saving Private Ryan in this, so I wanted to tell everyone. I spawned in at the scath and everything was dead silent. Grabbed a rifle, started walking. Not a soul in sight. Made my way across the bridge and still nothing. It felt like forever before I finally heard a single shot ring out. Not a second passes after that and three friendly tanks operated by the 901st come in to view. Keep in mind I’m very new to foxhole and wasn’t in a regiment. Soon after that I see the warden tank they are fighting. I start running because I have no anti tank to a small trench someone dug earlier. There is an AT rpg someone dropped there, so I grab it and advance up into a building with some other infantry. We get into some close quarters combat before the tank comes rolling back up. I fire a shot at the tank but I think I just barely missed. The tank wants its revenge so it fires its main cannon at me. If that were an inch closer I wouldn’t be telling this story lol, I’m still surprised I survived. I was bleeding out and collapsed in front of the friendly tanks and they got a medic to revive me. I start carrying our wounded to the medic and manning our mini trench line. By this point we started retreating since our tanks couldn’t combat the heavier warden tanks. I hopped in the medics truck and we retreat a bit. He tells us to get out to protect the tanks. It took us about 30 seconds to get moving again, they had us on the run. I tried running off the road to survive, but I’m reminded that we entered on a bridge when I find the river. I start sprinting to the bridge but it’s too late, at the last second I’m gunned down before I can escape. Fighting went on for the rest of the day and eventually we got a bunker base up near the bridge. We held the line for a long time before they pushed up with a mass tank charge. I was the last guy there when the close the bridge on me. It felt like the ending scene to saving Private Ryan when the four tanks were advancing on me and I only had one expendable AT. But luckily we recaptured it later anyways so it’s all good lol 😂

I'm in this hex entire war, well since we were pushed out from Deadlands. On warden side, not even participating in some naval ops, daily few hours in meatgrinder. But I like Solas more than latch. I can elaborate on this front, what happened amd what is happening and why is happening.

I believe the bloodiest war is still war 100 with 6,625,890 deaths. It's still the longest war at 55.8 days long. The 2nd bloodiest war was just war 115 at 6,284,584 deaths. If this war can go on another week or so I think it could be a contender for bloodiest war!
