Yes sir this happened with me in chemistry, in this year's jee mains (2021), I was solving a question in numerical section and there I got an information that helped me solve a theoretical question in section A of chemistry and I got it correct 😀

@@kabilan.s1138 Sir has basically givdn a strategy that can be clubbed with the 50-50 strategy discussed by Sir in a previous video i.e to organize the rough work...he has said specifically for online exams like JEE Advanced where the questions are too long we can just note the information in the question(not using language as in case of solved examples in books but rather in a short way so that you can understand the information on reviewing your rough work) and write it in straight horizontal lines in the rough sheets provided. The organized rough work helps to quickly recall the question in case we revisit an unanswered question and time spent for reading the question is saved. This way we can answer more questions in the last 1hr where mostly of us revisit unanswered questions. Moreover sometimes coincidentally questions are there in question paper where the information/hint from a later question helps in answering a question. This is my interpretation of what Sir said in this video.....

this is a really good strategy ngl.I wasted around 2-3 minutes in my jee mains exam due to unorganised rough work .There were questions i couldn't solve before but after some time i got a hint maybe due to some other question but couldn't find the vital informations i wrote on rough paper and i had to drop that questions.Wouldn't do the same in advanced.

This is exactly what I do in the actual exam, the mouse itself really motivates me to use it, so I feel compelled to use it a lot and hence do questions quickly. I score decent in the practice tests at home but I feel like it's not my best, maybe the absence of the mouse might be a problem that won't exist in the actual exam. Seeing this video is a big confidence booster because in the actual exam I've always intuitively followed your strategies but at home I couldn't/didn't become as aggressive, at the very least I've still learnt the lessons from papers despite not performing them at peak capacity. Sir usually main rough work bilkul rough work ki tarah karta tha matlab pura ghichad pichad but maine aapki strategy maths ke section pe apnayi i solved 2018 maths paper 2 section and to my surprise the ques which i was not able to do in first ATTEMPT nearly 40 percent of them got solved after reattempting in such a manner... It happened with me recently,when I stuck in finding the value of eccentricity of hyberbola about 12 minute still get e=1.2(that feel wrong) ,but when I solve some questions when I reached second last question of again ellipse then I realised ,OOO I used ecllipse equation of tangent in place of hyperbola.
