So as you can see my Photography has taken me back to my home region of Kent, after what was an amazing experience in the Peak District - However if there is one takeaway from that magnificent National Park... well it was trying to handle the crowds, even during Sunrise... Something that I'm really not used to, as you saw from the lack of people round from my early morning start here at Botany Bay. Of course its easy to bemoan the fact that we cant have it all our own way, and most importantly we have to remember that no one has the right to get these beautiful Landscapes, all to themselves!! - Thank you so much for watching I hope you enjoyed the video... See on the next one, as I wrap up a year long Photography Project!! 👍👍

Yeah best thing to do, is to get to spots early - Its harder in Winter of course, as its darker until a lot later too... thanks for taking the time to comment 😊👍👍

Last month my family spent a couple days in Las Vegas. One of the casinos there has a garden display that they change out regularly, so we went to take a look. It was very, very busy, but I did my best to get some photos. Most people would automatically stop and wait for me, and I would most often tell them to go ahead as I wasn't worried about. In one occasion, I was taking a photo of my daughter and many people were pausing to avoid getting in the shot. There was one lady that I heard make a comment like, "It's a walkway, I'm not stopping." Nobody had asked her to, but it was sure a contrast to everyone else on that day. Courtesy is definitely a two way street.

Yeah it only takes two seconds to take a picture.. Remember going to Vegas about a decade ago myself, and yeaaa... It gets very busy there so not surprised that you had those struggles - Good to know that the majority of people showed the simple bit of courtesy towards you though.

The problem (or bonus depending how you see it) with the Peak District is that Mam Tor is completely oversaturated with coverage from vlogs, blogs, magazines, insta-influencers, TV shows, etc leading to the impression that it's the 'must see location' and therefore unavoidable for crowds. In reality there's many more vantage-points around these parts with at least 95 Ethel summits that equal and even surpass the view from Mam Tor if you know how and where to look. The quieter summits might not be as simple as taking a 15 minute walk up some steps alongside everyone and their dog, but they can offer better views without needing to hear 70 conversations at once.

Yeah I agree with you there... Was talking to another Photographer on Instagram a few weeks ago from the region - Mam Tor etc. is great for being able to get the "I was there shot", but its been done so often its turned into that "Must see Location" that you mean. Because I was in the Peaks for a limited time on my first trip, I wanted to get those popular spots out the way, next time I head up there I'll probably do further research into the quieter locations
