Feel like the wood tones all being like, slightly off makes the house look so much more realistic. We all try our best to get tones that go together, but unless you sand and stain every single piece that comes into your home yourself, nothing is going to ever perfectly match. Love it!

I love this build! I struggle with decorating bc I feel like my houses always turn out too matchy-matchy lol, but I love how realistic this looks! Everything doesn't exactly MATCH but it all GOES together

The variety of browns and golds offset by the black and blue was a surprising look. I didn't expect to like it so much when you started with it. I think I still prefer the pure white, but both look really good. I like this challenge, it seems like a great way to get out of a color rut.

I believe that creating a family home for a large family would be awesome. It needn't even be all mom and dad and their kids-it could be relatives like uncles and cousins-but it should be a really big house with ten bedrooms and everything. Then, make each bedroom incredibly unique-some could be completely empty, while others might be overflowing. and arrange the family's rooms to such an extent that it seems as though each member has a particular pet peeve that demands that every last aspect of their room match. For instance, while some individuals may have a fixation with neatness, others may be hoarders in the sense that they enjoy gathering items. However, everything in this person's room needs to be precisely symmetrical for the hoarder. The house's bedrooms' contrast would produce a visually arresting and distinctive living area that highlights the distinct personalities of each family member. The home's overall architecture would gain depth and complexity from this attention to detail and individuality, giving it a genuinely unique area. and every room has to be a completely different color.

* FUN BUILD/ CAS CHALLENGE IDEA * So I came up with this challenge idea, idk if anyone has done it already, but the challenge is to make a house, ( I also did an entire family too ) , completely in greyscale! So like no color ANYWHERE. All black, white and grey color filters essentially. The idea is to make it look like the house has the grayscale filter on it, like the black and white build challenge, but not. It’s super fun and hard, and the miss-matching tones of the black, white and grey actually make it look more like it’s in a filter. The thought just popped into my head one day, and I wanted to share!😊 Lemme know if you try it and have fun! 😄

I want to try this challenge now! The last time I tried one of your challenges (sim chooses furniture + swatches), it took absolutely forever - you have lots of patience and cut out a lot. But this one seems a little easier - I might try it from a shell of a house, though. Building houses by themselves takes so much time for me to start with!
