I would strip slower and maybe use something that keeps that fly near the bottom. Thanks for posting again.

Thanks for the tip! Last year when I’d catch a ton of fish out there they seemed to love to have a minnow stripped real fast. But that was last summer when the weather was much different. I’m going to give that a shot when I’m out there again real soon!
