With move objects I used the regular cabinet and placed two on top of each other to make a corner cabinet and I couldn't see any visual clipping so I might be doing that in all my kitchens lol

Laundry in the kitchen??? European inspired??? Where in Europe do they have the laundry in the kitchen??? I thought that’s just a US thing… never saw this around here, we have them in the bathroom…. Pls tell me if I’m wrong and there are european countries with the laundry in the kitchen… Edit: ok apparently i was wrong and it is a thing in some countries. I just never was in those countries or the regions where it is common. Thanks for all the comments i learned a lot!

I think that refreshing spa day was one of her worst packs to refresh just bc it’s not really an “everyday” pack that people use. If they refreshed something like dine out, a lot more people would’ve bought it

As a Swede🇸🇪 I almost fainted when I heard laundry in the kitchen.😱😅 That's nothing we would do, so now I'm curious to know which Europeans does laundry in their kitchen?😊

I’ve only encountered that literally once in Sweden and that was in an apartment that was just the top floor of a house and out on a farm so there was no like communal laundry and no space to have a washing machine except for the kitchen, because the shower was literally right over the toilet 😹😹😹

As a Scandinavian person I first thought that that wasn’t really a typical scandi house, but then I remembered that on all my walks I have been looking at that EXACT type of window and been annoyed that we can’t really do that in the sims. So yeah, it can definitely be a scandi house! I just don’t really know people who live in the modern style houses. And every time I think “what is a typical Swedish house???” My mind goes to Falu rödfärg 😹😹

Kittens galumphing in background is an added bonus! Hope Snap is doing well after her vet visit, wishing her hugs and cuddles. If they wanted to experiment with refreshes they should do it now when there are a bunch of new players since base game became free, as opposed to when they did Spa Day (which was HUGELY popular with everyone who already owned it).

It doesn't visually clip if you place regular cabinets on top of each other with move objects on to make a corner piece (at least not in the kitchen I made yesterday)

I love the shape of the inpriration home. I think it really made for the perfect open floorplan with nice little nooks. The Scandinavian style decor❤❤❤

I'm loving this new pack. I already had a game going where my sim is a gardener and big into eco living and keeps chickens. Tiny homestead basically. The fact that I can sell things other than just the pizza and waffles makes me so happy. I've got her selling pies!

To have a washing machine in the kitchen is more of a apartment thing in Europe isn't it? I live in Norway and here as far as i am aware if you have a house, you don't have the washing machine in the kitchen, usually there is a room for that, close to the bathroom.

Apartments (in Finland at least) have a space in the bathroom for a washing machine😁

@@neppislol Same with the normal sized apartments in Norway as well, but the really small ones in the main cities have a bathroom that is a shower, toilet and sink in a 2x2 sims style size, ISomeone I knew in Oslo had to remove the toilet paper when he was going to shower, or else it got wet, cause it was IN the shower itself XD The house I live in have the toilet in one room, shower and tub in one and a room for the washer and dryer :D We have the water heater and 2 freezers in that room as well XD

To make columns taller i believe its either you press the bracket keys or the bracket keys + shift, i forgot tbh lol also sometimes when you're building the walls or messing with the structure of the house they will go back to default columns. Hope this helps!

In Denmark there is a lot of focus on warm lighting using well designed lamps. Anything "hyggeligt" is used to cozy up rooms. Also using bookshelves and lots of wood is also very common. If you search up "danish homes" or "danish design", you will see what I mean. Really enjoyed your video though. Watching your videos brings me peace

One of our old apartments had the washer and dryer in the kitchen, and man was it one of my absolute favorite things! It was soooooo easy to be working on dinner and to swap laundry if it finished or start a load if you needed to.

Poor Snappy's office space has been thoroughly invaded by now! 🙀Has she hissed at the throne once known as hers? Is she still able to relax in there? 😿 Not that I don't love seeing Shrimp and Sunny, but I do worry for Snappy. The washing machines are popular in Europe in kitchens because of saving small places up. Especially in flats, people use washing machines in kitchens cus in flats bathrooms are so tiny that there wouldn't be a space for it. It's more for convenience than looks

I discovered that the pizza oven is categorized as outside grill... which you cant place in university doorms. But you can bring it with you! and you can place the waffle maker, so adios quick meals, even though eating too much waffle make your sim get a special moodlet either bored or unconfortabled from either junk food or something like that...
