The fact that the Earth has the Moon that is 1/6th of it's size that orbits it every day/night and affects how high the tides change is such a great factor in how it affects weather systems and all marine life shows how incredible our world is and how rare it doesn't exist much or at all among trillions of galaxies and solar systems in the Universe.

Hi Wes! ❤ It is so good to hear from you! I am sooo grateful you have a good head on your shoulders and did not attempt that lighthouse!! It was cool at least to see it up close! That little island turned out to be a blessing, especially while you were losing daylight! That sunset was spectacular! It must have been the site to wake up in the morning and realize the island you were on was more beautiful than expected! Thank you for sharing your adventure! Stay safe 🙏 and I look forward to your next destination 😊

I live south of Boston and know Minot Light well, it can be a very dangerous area for boats let alone a kayak. One thing we don't have a shortage of in New England is lighthouses, I'm sure you'll be able to find a more suitable one. B&M makes the best baked beans! My father used to love Brown Bread but me....not so much. It's still in every supermarket in NE though so someone's still eating it.

She would take my brother and I up there to visit. We would do yard work while my mother and her friend drank Cutty Sark scotch. As a reward for the yard work, my brother and I would each get a plate of fried chicken livers before the drive home with mom "three sheets to the wind"

Incredible channel. I'd watch any of your content. Excellent, thanks so much. It takes excellent athleticism, and the variety of skills to do what you do, and share it to our benefit. And for posterity, I mean, who else films and goes visits these things, and the video content is here for posterity. A lot of eyes can now see so much. I especially like the content of your scrambling on the wet slippery boulders, and your second by second foot destination placement choices as you step, that truly is elite level scrambling. It turns on a person's "billygoat brain cells" watching it, it's what I enjoy the most. Getting my "billygoat brain cells" switched on as I watch how you choose your steps. B & M needs to give you something, since I just ordered a bunch of their cans of brown bread due to your content today. (During the Oct 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, my father was on Army duty on the Military Base at Mannheim, Germany, and as Americans might expect, our military members were on almost constant "Alert" highest level status for that week and afterwards---meaning us "dependents" meaning children and spouses, some of us, like our brood of sub 16 year olds, ate K-rations for meals that week, including the highlight K ration treat which was the brown bread with raisons in a can, just like B & M's brown bread with raisons variety.). Good choice. Who knew bread in a can!
