For those wondering, the breakdown for each pack is: 2 Super Rares 1 Secret Rare (1-in-4 chance of being a Platinum Secret Rare or Quarter Century Secret Rare) 2 Ultra Rares (1-in-6 chance each of being a Collector's Rare or Ultimate Rare) The TCG is only 79 cards compared to 80 in the OCG due to not having Maxx C.

Not gonna lie, this set almost is enough to get me back into physical YGO. Ended up dropping out of the game a while back, but seeing these is kinda nuts. Several cards I really needed just flowing like water out of these. Droplet, TTT, Lightning Storm, Evenly, the Pots. Really insane. Best of luck in trying to pull everything! You did manage to do that, that binder is gonna be insane! (Love to see one of my Charmers make it in here. Wish it would of been the Hitta coming soon but hey!)

This is an amazing set for collectors, new players, and max rarity players. I love how every pack has a good hit, even if it's just a super Baronne. It's still a Baronne! Edit: I typed this at the start and just saw the first pack have a super Baronne in the front.

Honestly, if this becomes the Anniversary Set when one comes up, it might be a perfect setup (15th Anniversary for the original, 20th in 2018, and Quarter Century in 2023) The real question is if they do more Maximum Gold versions of the Rarity Collection

I super agree with your point at the end about doing a collector's version next. It solves the problem of not enough meta cards to reprint and the whole idea of a bunch of rarities works so well for collecting. With old school there wasn't a whole lot going on with rarities so it's so cool to see cards like rota and reasoning in these new forms. There's a lot to be done with just random cards as well as goat and edison stuff.

To help people looking at the set. Platinum rares have triangles around the borders. collectors also have rainbow but have secret rare foiling in the middle and rainbow embossed name and text box, so no triangles on edge. The ultimate rares are slight raised on the card art and 25th are obvious

heres one thing ruxin about your concerns regarding to many reprints. If u look at the Ocg you can see ALL cards are cheap and availiable in lower rarity. And thats how it should be. While i agree that we should not Overprint high rarity cards to preserve the secondary market, i wanna distinguish that there is no "overprinting" of playable low/mid rare staple cards. Print them as soon as possible as often as possible to make the game accessable. Cheers

I think releasing a set like this every other year is a good balance. Still lets chase cards be meta and worth something for a while, but when the entire meta prices lots of people out of the game, then drop this kind of set with most chase cards so people can enjoy cards before they get out of the hobby. People saying 5 years or more between are nuts

The issue is the real release dates of the Rarity Collection *The Rarity Collection* 2014 *Rarity Collection: 20th Anniversary* 2018 *Rarity Collection: Maximum Gold* 2020 *Rarity Collection: Quarter Century* 2023 3-4 years between releases is not unrealistic

Amazing set with amazing-looking amazing reprints. My favorite has to be Effect Veiler since I'm pretty nostalgic about the time when what is now called 'Edison format' was still called 'current meta'. Gorgeous cards all in all. Not sure if Effect Veiler sees play anymore in the current meta, since I don't follow the current meta.

Man I'm just hyped that Egyptian God Slime is going to see some price shakeups. EGS is meant to be lynch pin in my Aqua/Turtle deck but getting a playset with EGS going for $50-80 a piece just wasn't a pill I could justify for a gimmick deck.
