Hey girl, your hair is so beautiful and full. Just a word of caution tho, the aphogee treatment is quite strong and can lead to breakage due to protein overload (trust me I know from experience) so please be careful with that treatment. Use a really good deep conditioner after to restore the moisture 🥰

I can actually imagine this! I thought I was going to be using it weekly but I’ve changed my mind I’ll defo not be doing that. Also I’m not using that conditioner again, my hair was so dry after 🙃 back to my Joocee one for sure! Thanks for the tips 🥰

Loved this video! The aphogee instructions suggest every repeating every 4-6 weeks, so that might help; also the point of their moisturizer is to balance out the pH after the protein treatment. So maybe use theirs first and then follow up with your regular conditioner? Just a suggestion! :)

Thank you! 🥰 yeah I realised using weekly would be a bit excessive haha. Ooooo okay this sounds like a good idea!! Because the way my hair felt soo dry 🥲

@@nucchi deep condition with a protein-free deep conditioner with a plastic cap and a hot towel every week until you do the 2-step in 4 to 6 weeks. I use the As I Am Hydration Elation or the Camille Rose Algae Renew Deep Conditioner. If you think your hair needs more protein support, you can use the Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer once a day.

Hey Nucchi! This product is one of my staples when my hair needs a major protein boost. If you try this again, I recommend waiting 4-6 weeks and spraying the section with water right before applying the product to help distribute the product better. I think smaller sections (6-8 instead of 4) and using more of the product per section will help too. After you rinse really thoroughly to make sure all the chemicals are out, then in sections, I would apply the balancing moisturizer to return your hair to its normal pH. And use a lot of this product too. I think the key is to use a lot and comb it through so every strand is drenched in the product and that helps me get good results the end. The hair should feel really soft after step 2. Oh and last thing I would wear an old, big t-shirt so it doesn't get on my skin. I have sensitive skin too girl :)). Then you can follow up with your regular conditioner.

The instructions say to use on towel-dried hair. Why does everyone not follow instructions? lol!😅🤣😂I wear a headband to stop it running down my neck and I shake the bottle up so it's a more foam consistency. It is mainly for your ends don't put it on your roots or scalp.

@Nucchi Use K18hair products, try the hair repair starter set. It’s a molecular hair repair system to repair the damage. I use the whole system on myself and my clients in NY and NJ. It's not a bond builder, it works on the molecular level, so completely different. Most of my clients have switched from Olaplex to K18 hair products. I love it!

I’m so happy for you! Please keep updating us on your hair journey. I had the same texture release experience with my hair and your videos help me to not give up and believe that my hair will eventually revert to normal without a big chop. 😊🙏🏾❤

You cannot use Aphogee every week. It's meant to be used every 4-6 weeks. It is a very strong protein treatment. Invest in the Olaplex bond treatment and use that. Also, severe heat damage is irreversible. You will eventually have to cut off those ends.

I can see that you are struggling with your hair. It seems like no one taught you how to do your own 4c hair. I noticed that you mentioned manageability. Here is my weekly wash day to deal with tangles: 1. Apply African Pride Moisture Miracle Aloe & Coconut Water Pre-Shampoo with a plastic cap for 30 minutes and then detangle with a wide-toothed comb. 2. Shampoo with Creme of Nature Argan Oil From Morocco Sulfate-Free Moisture & Shine Shampoo. If your hair is very long and thick section and wash it in 10 twists or clipped-up sections. This also stops it re-tangling. 3. Apply a protein-free deep conditioner with a plastic cap and a hot towel for 30 minutes. 4. Do a final rinse with cold water to smooth the hair cuticle down 5.Apply a leave-in conditioner and a leave-in detangler. I use Cantu Coil calm and Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning cream. Then I section my hair into 20 clips and detangle first with a wide-toothed comb, then a medium-toothed comb and a tangle -teezer. 6 After I have detangled my hair, I style it in twists, flat twists or 2 or 3 French braids. If I do the 2 French braids it takes me 20 minutes. So that's a 1 hour and 10 minute wash day. I learned this process from my trichologists in Fulham in London. My trichologists do not do the pre-poo or section so it takes them 1 hour to do my hair and everyone's hair regardless of thickness or length. For daily maintenance I re-apply the leave-in detangle and the leave-in conditioner cream which takes me 5 minutes in twists or flat twists. If I have the French braids it takes maybe 15 minutes. 5 to take down the French braids, 5 to apply the products and 5 to put the French braids back in. I often hold over the bath with the detachable shower head. I don't get my whole body wet to do my hair. I never liked detangling in the shower. My stylist and my trichologists detangle in the styling chair with leave in products not at the shampoo bowl. I have been known to shampoo on a Friday and wrap my hair, Deep condition on a Saturday and Detangle on a Sunday. Lol! Life be Life-ing. As long as I shampoo, deep condtion and detangle weekly and apply leave in daily my hair remains- manageable. I just took down my autumn braids that I had in for a month and it took me 4 hours to detangle! Several Netflix episodes. Lol!
