Humans can be so cruel to animals. Honestly, growing up in a third world country, we had dogs but I didn’t have such compassion for them. I didn’t think anything wrong with mistreating animals to some degree. However, I moved to Canada later and saw how animals were treated like humans. I have a dog and pour out money on her to keep her healthy and can’t think of life without her. When I go back home, I treat my parents dogs with such love and kindness. So, it is all about education and accepting new ways of how animals are supposed to be treated.

Wow, a sloth bear! That’s a first for me. I’m from Alaska and I’ve physically seen black bears, brown bears, grizzly bears (the difference between a brown bear and grizzly bear is geographic location) Kodiak brown bear (largest brown bear in the world) and a polar bear but never a sloth bear.

To bring a lasting solution to this animal suffering you guys have to force local authorities at the municipality level to take action. There shouldn't be any street dogs and who ever own dogs must be registered with municipalities. The biggest problem in third world countries that people are used to live with stray animals and they don't think about the dangers to people by these animals and also the suffering of animals but it's a real nuisance and scary for foreigners who just want to walk or ride a bike on the streets.
