Attending a Bhutia marriage 🥂🎊

I recently attended my cousin’s wedding in Bermiok, South Sikkim. Although I didn’t have many people to talk to, I still managed to have fun🥰. I also got to spend quality time with my family. Not to forget that I was also introduced to many of my cousins whom I were meeting for the first time.

1st the marriage takes place at the bride’s place and then it takes place at groom’s place. In Bhutia marriage the guy has to pay the bride price. They also offer some goodies to the nearest relatives of the Bride (like meat, alcohol, grains etc). That’s all I know.
